all you need to do is explain that theyre deliberately mistagging things which is just not a thing on ao3 because its an archive.

by posting your fic there, ao3, has the right to manually recategorise tags. its in the ToS:

you cant deliberately mistag stuff on ao3; it is an archive. you cant tag for reach, and this is likely gonna get pat tag wranglers because they deal mostly with form not content of tags and if theyre tagging for reach, its gonna be the more popular tags.

so report the fuck out of them for it. most likely, their fic will just have tags adjusted and their account will be fine.

and if they keep doing it and get suspended for it, its their own damn fault.

I can understand the complain in the letter but the solutions of the problems that's been written is literally in the letter itself. I can sympathize feeling frustrated seeing only porn stuff of your fave pair, but every single fandom have them and again, the solution is there. I won't name fandoms, but I read fics from big fandoms too. If i'm not in the mood for porn, then filter. If i'm in the mood for porn, filter. the ao3 literally provides this UI for this specific problem.

And imo, anon, ironically yes you should've just send this letter to the authors you want to speak with. That's a much much better solution than just stating Open Letter while it comes off as complaining and whining. If people want to say "oh it's the internet, we have freedom to say anything". I know, say it on social media then, take it on dms, hell pick a fight in the tl even if you dare.

Now this just makes you seem like a whiny brat while maybe that's not what you intended too. Majority of ppl are seeing this as something ridiculous and I'm pretty sure you will hide again, why? Seek those answers to the subjects you want to speak to, complain to them, whine if you want. They can talk about it with you.

It is a small fandom, it's frustrating yes we all know, that's the downside of being in a small fandom. Even ppl reading fics from big fandoms get fed up too. Again, the solutions are provided by AO3 since it's been there, the purpose is to curate it to your own taste. Even @gaylilsherlock says block her if you want, that's to every individuals power to do that if you don't like it. You can easily make the front page setting change to "Date Posted" so you will not see her first. You will still find porn anyway, even much more sinister & filthier than the recent ones dare I say. I'll just take this chance to shoutout for both @uhhhhmanda and @gaylilsherlock and the rest of the authors that's been posting (I'm sorry i do not know their tumblr @) for staying active in posting fics despite the lack of engagements it can be - I know many authors & readers can relate to this. Shout out to the ones who are still trying to make fics, fanarts, or quit making them. It's all valid.

We have Rain and Kim Bum calling each other’s character “my love” in the tags of the first pictures of them together right before the drama first aired. Bumie commented “❤️” in Rain’s and Rain commented “Can’t come true… crying ❤️" in Bumie’s.

tvN calling them a “hidden couple” and summarizing the drama as the relationship between MinTak in one of the behind the scenes videos. The one that Rain said “In my heart, we already kissed” about Youngmin and Seungtak. It’s canon folks, the straight circus is just a cover up (unfortunately). They wished for MinTak to be endgame too but alas SK isn’t prepared for that yet in their mainstream dramas.
