The quilt!!! The Good Luck quilt !!!! just there on instagram with 60 likes on it!!!!!!!!! oh man i was looking SO HARD. i've started to do a guide to all the good luck symbols that were on it but my quest is basically over!! The edges of it aren't clear, but this is basically everything we DON'T see in the film! oh man, I feel lightheaded.

Better images have been coming out; this is the most complete quilt reconstruction I could make! This time I haven't filled in any of the missing areas; this is really what we have so far!

What the panels are (in green are symbols of luck), and the grid because it is helpful to a lot of people it seems!

Fuck censorship. Because it feels like censoring the word "kill" undermines the fact that they were killed.

Killed by the State in both cases.

I don't think that's necessarily the intent of whoever censored the image. But if we can't *talk* about death like this, we can't talk about who and why those people were killed. And that's a really goddamn important thing to talk about.

Especially when the US is gathering immigrants in converted warehouses where some of them die, and the rest are living in horrendous conditions.

Especially when the US has murdered citizens in the streets.

We have to talk about those killings.

A small First Nations community in Ontario that was burned to the ground by a raging wildfire on Monday is being deprived of the help it needs because the federal government doesn't recognize it as a First Nation, the community's lawyer says. And its chief says she didn't hear anything from Indigenous Services Minister Mandy Gull-Masty for nearly a week after the fire broke out. Residents of Collins First Nation, a remote community without road access more than 200 kilometres north of Thunder Bay, were forced to self-evacuate earlier this week in advance of fast-moving fires.
