we are NOT bringing 4chan incel terminology to this site, take that "foid" out of your post and go wash your blog out with soap
the same sentiment goes for words like "theyfab" by the way. even if this post is primarily about misogyny, making up words to mock nonbinary persons who "post femininely" or "don't pass" or whatever is transphobic (and dareisay still somewhat misogynistic to denote someone as "girly" for the way they post) and still stems from the same general source. especially when it's used in the context that I usually see it used, wherein the target has not posted about their gender at birth at all and people on here still assume "afab" because they post about "girly" topics (or use they/them at all; there's definitely a weird trend on here where people just assume somebody using gender neutral pronouns must be afab). Cut from the same cloth, same shit different toilet. you go wash your blog out with soap too.

recently saw this screenshot in the wild and lost my mind because i knew it wasnt supposed to say girl. its ladykins. its get off the cross ladykins. i know this because ladykins is not something my brain could make up and i remember ladykins. and i was sincerely wondering if someone put in the work to censor ladykins for some inscrutable purposes but then i looked it up and
turns out that actually rupaul made the same tweet twice with 1 word changed 8 months apart. he meditated on this for 8 months and 5 days and the word ladykins came to him. i initially thought he copy pasted the first tweet but i dont think thats true anymore i dont think he was operating with any memory of the first tweet i think these words were always in him and will always be. second tweet did way worse by the way. the people did not respond to ladykins

soraya chemaly, from rage becomes her: the power of women’s anger, 2018
[“Sarkeesian went on to describe how intentional she must be about every word choice and about the decisions she makes about where to speak and to whom:
Every day, I see my words scrutinized, twisted, and distorted by thousands of men hell-bent on destroying and silencing me. What I couldn't say is that I am a human being. I don't get to publicly express sadness or rage or exhaustion or anxiety or depression... I don't get to express my feelings of fear or how tiring it is to be constantly vigilant. In our society, women are not allowed to express feelings without being characterized as hysterical, erratic, highly emotional, or overly sensitive. Our expression of insecurity, doubt, anger, or sadness are all policed and often used against us. By denying ourselves the space to feel and to share those feelings, we perpetuate this notion that we should suffer alone. That we should toughen up or grow a thicker skin, which we should not have to do.
Aware of foul treatment like this, women often withdraw, stop writing and speaking, or change what they write about. They police their own voices and move to sex-segregated places, leaving the theoretically gender-neutral public forum for men. One-third of women report shuttering their opinions because they fear threats and violence. And yet this issue never seems to take priority as a problem that undermines our work, freedom of expression, political engagement, or the proper functioning of democracy.
"What I couldn't say is, I'm angry, " said Sarkeesian.
"I am angry. In fact, I'm furious... I am angry that I am expected to accept online harassment as the price of being a woman with an opinion."”]

it’s crazy how steaming mad your fellow homosexual will become when you tell them you don’t believe in astrology. like i thought we all agreed it’s impolite to bring up spiritual beliefs in light conversation with acquaintances and then get upset when they don’t share said beliefs

I don't know who needs to hear this, but do not ever, ever, ever let someone guilt you into not transitioning. "But you're so pretty! You'll ruin your lovely body!" "But you're my [son/daughter/boyfriend/girlfriend/mom/dad/etc.]; I can't see you any other way!" "But we need more [badass butch lesbians/women in STEM/etc.] to show women that they can do anything!" "But we need good men like you to promote healthy masculinity!" <- None of these are reasons not to transition. Transition is for you, not for others. Other peoples' indignation or sadness over your transition is not your burden to bear, and other peoples' expectations for you are not moral obligations you must fulfill. Do not live to fit inside a prescribed role in somebody else's life. You must live for yourself. Please transition.
