Within the last 70-ish years, American women got access to (not even equal) education, credit cards, and (often inadequate) anti-discrimination laws and we immediately started proving ourselves to be better at almost everything. Men are such jealous babies, the only thing they’re better at than women is working hard labor, and even then most of them can’t even do that!

Many new parents are delighted to discover that if left to their own devices for long enough, their children will just go ahead and raise themselves. Later on, the same parents are shocked and dismayed to find that their children didn't raise themselves to obey and respect their parents.
