So, Jax has mannerisms a lot like a cat, right? The way his eyes dilate, his Cheshire Cat smile, the way he jumps at corn. Cats are stereotypically known for being very aloof and kinda mean (I love cats)

But, rabbits are known for fear. They have been known to break their own necks or spines in terror or an attempt to flee perceived danger.

So, Jax has the mannerisms of a cat, the attitude of a cat. The desire to be perceived us uncaring and unbothered.

Everyone’s character represents their fears or insecurities: Pomni’s fear of not being taken seriously= she’s the shortest and a jester, Zooble’s body insecurities= whatever the hell is her avatar always changing and making it even hard to walk, and so on

You wanna know WHY this wonderful girl is a slytherin instead of a gryffindor?

Because Gryffindor does not own morality.

Everyone automatically places characters who want to help people or have any amount of bravery into either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, BUT GUESS WHAT? Nowhere does it say that only those two houses have morals, or that Slytherins can’t have morals Or compassion.

Slytherins are also very brave — Snape is brave, even if I dislike him I can still give credit where it’s due. Regulus fucking Black is crazy brave, and no one acknowledges that. But they are brave in a way that is more thoughtful instead of impulsive in the average Gryffindor way. They think before they leap, and they only leap if they consider it necessary.

Sound like anyone we know yet? Yeah, Inej. This girl has nerves of steel, yes, but in a much more Slytherin way. It’s because she *refuses to lose*.

When she’s fighting, it’s because she refuses to lose, refuses to be taken down without taking down her attackers either. That’s a slytherin amount of pride and spite, if you ask me.

You wanna know what else makes her a slytherin? She’s fiercely determined, and ambitious. When she’s climbing the furnace, what gets her out? Realizing she has a goal she wants to accomplish. She realizes she wants to help other girls and people who were in her situation — and not only that, she wants to bring the slavers down to their knees. That last part especially makes her seem even more slytherin.

More examples of ambition? How she continued to try and try and try again to get good at the tightrope as a child.

How she refuses to let Kaz dissuade her from anything, even loving him, and she refuses to let loving him keep her from her ambition, and instead learns how to handle both.

How she fights for her freedom and autonomy, even with morally gray actions, even through killing.

She’s also very cunning and clever, and a bit of an opportunist. This is shown through her general spying skills, and how she offered to help Kaz when she thought it would get her out of the Menagerie. She’s also the only person to have ever outwitted Kaz. We see it in her fight with Dunyasha, how she’s resourceful.

Remus Lupin is for the losers and the disabled. For the people who didnt fit in. Ever. Who didn't have the bravado to make up for the fact that they were just average

James Potter is for the people pleasers. The ones who crack the jokes and hold u when u cry. James Potter is for the golden retriever people who never know when to quiet down and that's why they are loved.

Peter Pettigrew is for the insecure people. For the ones who always think they don't deserve what they get because 'there is someone else better out there'. Peter is for the people who forget they are wanted.

Barty Crouch Jr is for the people with daddy issues. For the people who never got over the fact that they weren't good enough for that one person. For the people who battle mental health everyday and are still fighting.

Evan Rosier is for the people who look 'normal' but hate fitting in. Is for the people who start fights just to feel something. Evan is for the older siblings who were eventually ignored. Is for the people who learnt to be their own role model.

Regulus Black is for the introverts. For the people who would rather sit in a corner with a book than talk to others. Regulus Black is for the people who show their love through harsh words and who learnt to push people away instead of pull them close.

Pandora Rosier is for the freaks. For the weirdos and the witches. Shes for every girl who was ever told not to do something because it's not lady like. For the people who are feminine in the most feral ways.

Dorcas Meadows is for the girls who want power. For the fighters who don't back down. For the determined and the hot headed. For everyone who got to their goal no matter how hard the struggle.

Marlene McKinnon is for the punks. For the emos and the alternatives. Shes for every blonde who was told they must be stupid. For everyone who fought their stereotypes. For everyone who was told they couldn't do something so they went and did exactly that.

Lily Evans is for the angry women. For the girls who are sick of being told to be quiet. Shes for the ones who kick and scream and yell. Shes for the feminists and the activists and the people who love to be organized.

Mary MacDonald is for the girly girls. For the women who are happy to fit in to the norm. Not because they're sheep but because that's who they are. Mary is for the girls who are unapologetic, who are pretty and kind and who don't judge. Shes for every 'popular girl' who was ever told they were mean when they really really aren't.

This is why the marauders are so special. They represent everyone in some way shape or form.
