Out of curiosity,,, is your list longer than top 3 and which number does his "noo" with the chuckle directly afterwards get when the audience starts cheering in Promises? 👀 Because I think that is my personal number one corkpheus moment :')
hehe, this may be my favourite ask ever :)) yes, that list is longer than the top 3, and yes, the moment you're talking about is definitely also on there! I think everything after the top 3 is not necessarily ranked, but there are soooo many more great moments where I just LOVE dónal Finn's interpretation of orpheus, so I'll just list a few more hehe
the way he conducts the music (especially during epic iii and come home with me)
the way during his final wait for me chorus (just before his solo), you can hear how exhausted he is, like there is an audible breath to that specific "wait for me", and it gets me every time
the way he asks "another way?" and you can hear him scramble after Hermes when he realises there is a way to get eurydice back
every time he laughs! but specifically that one time in "wedding song" and when Hermes calls him a "big artiste"
his voice during epic iii when he asks "where is your youth?" - it's like pure emotion
his accent in "living it up on top" when he does the toast, and the way specifically the ends of the lines go up "if no one takes to much, then there will always be enough. she will always fill our cups, and we will always... raise them up!" the -u- sounds just do something to these lines that I LOVE
the way you can hear how drunk on joy and love he is during promises, when he asks "ok, let's go... how?"
literally every single thing he does during "if its true" - the way he sings himself hoarse with desperation and somehow finds so much strength there... but if it's true kind of deserves its own list, because his performance literally changed my life
oh and how could I forget about his accent when he says "I don't know, the song's not finished though" during wedding song. one of THE best vocal stims ever :)
