In the Hadestown proshot, there’s a moment during Hades and Persephone’s dance, Hades tosses his cane to the side. After my initial concern, I found out that a lot of mobility aid users thought it was a really sweet moment that shows how much he was trusting Persephone in that moment. Which, as with everything, got me thinking about Kanej. How Kaz and Inej place so much trust in each other. How “he’d begun to look for her, to lean on her, to need her near”. How she leaves and he waits for her (by the window always).
Now, pointing out Hadestown/Kanej parallels is by no means an original thought on my part. I just mean to say Kanej dance scene when
