They're not allowed to use words like "rape" or "paedophile". They have to use words like "grape" or "PDF". They're not allowed to discuss violence, and on some platforms, they are demonetised if they discussed politics-- or, at the very least they know the comment sections will be filled with a lot of hate from all sides if they do discuss politics. So they've been trained to avoid it.

They have been trained from day, one to be afraid to use the correct words for what's appropriate for what they're talking about.

All the while, the vast majority of people they grew up watching on YouTube have been accused of – and in times admitting – really inappropriate things with children. And they've seen that all these rich people on these platforms have to do is give a make a tutorial that may or may not include an apology and there's no consequence whatsoever to whatever they do.

As a result, They’ve been trained simultaneously to believe that something like sexual assault is both extremely serious – so serious we can’t say the word – and also absolutely nothing. Because will everyone famous – especially everyone they follow on YouTube has been accused of it – or admitted it. So the sexual assault itself isn’t serious at all. It has no meaning. Oh but, you can’t say the word. You cannot say those words. You can say grapes – which aren’t going be taken seriously. Which proved that we don’t take those things seriously.

Sexual assault can’t be that big of a deal, because well James Charles is still doing great. But you can’t actually say sexual assault because YouTube will get mad. So the word is dangerous. The language is upsetting and serious and has significant negative consequences. But the acts itself? The actual sexual assault? Is not a problem.

That’s the world these kids have grown up in.

United States president is a sexual predator. That’s fine. No one cares. It didn’t stop him from getting the role. Quite the country, people laughed because he joked about it. So you can be a sexual predator. That’s fine. They have grown up in the world where this is fine. There are no consequences to this. No one minds.

You just can’t see the words. The words are what offensive, not the fact that he’s a sexual predator.

That’s the world these children have grown up in.

Children are products of whatever environment they are raised in. Their reflection of that, and whilst a few children can overcome the environments that they have been placed in, most children are going to except realities in which they have been born.

And then, once you add in all of the regulations from government to make things more palatable to children – ensuring that they are not allowed to see queer relationships before a certain time of night, for example, ensuring that they're not allowed to see sex, that everything has to be extremely sanitised… can't actually show blood, even though we are murdering hundreds of people in a film.

Are we surprised that the children who grew up watching predators get away with absolutely everything, the victims getting absolutely nothing except being relentlessly bullied-- are we surprised that those children do not find things like sex crimes offensive?

Are we surprised that the children who have been raised on all of this are both extremely Puritan about sex, violence, language, and politics when those have been repeatedly banned from the platforms they grew up on?

Are we surprised that the children who grew up with all of this? Don't think that it's a big deal that Trump is in the Epstein files over 1 million times? Are we surprised that they don't even care about the Epstein files? Are we surprised that they don't find sex crimes really that big of a deal when the majority of their childhood entertainers from YouTube have been accused of inappropriate activity with minors?

People who are so shocked that the younger generations are so Puritan about absolutely everything, and so unaffected with things like sex, crimes, sexual harassment, political, corruption, etc? These people created this mess.

I genuinely wish that the younger generations were not so puritan and right wing. But they have been raised in environments that have rewarded that. They have been raised in environments that have encouraged that.

and it was adults who did that. It was adults who rewarded that. It was adults who worked so hard to get legislation that "protected "them.

Now, with the digital ideas, and the "protect the children from the Internet "thing that is going on through a majority of countries – if it's not hit your country, it will- this is going to get 10 times worse. Children will have no access whatsoever to simple things like trying to search online. "how do I know I am gay" or "what is the definition of abuse" when they realise and suspect that someone might be abusing them.

You think these children have been over sanitised now? Let's just wait 15 years for all of the children who have been growing up with these new laws that will be put in place that make sure that children cannot even look up online how to get help if they think they are being abused.

Children will not even be able to look up what to do if they think they might be transgender, or they might be asexual. Because the Internet is being locked down, so that children have absolutely no access to anything.

You think these kids are puritan, now? You think these kids are growing up with too much fascist idealisation now? Let's chat in 15-20 years. Let's just see how much more fucked over these children are in 15-20 years, after these laws have all set in.

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.

So these LLM crawlers are hoovering up the output of other LLMs and folding that into their datasets. Slop eating slop. Which means they're getting dumber and more prone to hallucination than ever.

I’m in my mid-thirties and I have never had sex. I’ve thought about it and could have had one or two opportunities if I put in more effort, but I always decided against it because I just wasn’t into it at the time.

I can safely say that I do not feel I have missed out on anything. I was perfectly capable, by myself, of learning about my own body and boundaries without anyone else there to muddy the waters. The immense pressure that was there in my teens/twenties to Have Sex Just Do It is basically gone. I’m vibing. I’ve got my routine by myself in bed that I enjoy, and that’s enough for me.

And in the unlikely event that I ever decide to have sex with someone in the future, I don’t feel at all like I’m lacking some essential Knowledge or Skill that would “make it good” for someone else. I fully expect to ask my partner out loud what they like and to receive an answer clearly communicated and to relax and have fun. And if it’s a disappointing experience, I’m fine with that too. It is what it is.
