Happy Pride!
Every pride, you must reblog this. No exceptions
I love that four different people on my feed scheduled this joyous person to reblog by 8am on June 1. I look forward to seeing this a dozen more times today.
I love you too, Corie. Even when I didn't like you, I loved you.
JANE FONDA & ROBERT REDFORD BAREFOOT IN THE PARK (1967)
Somewhere out there on a planet very far away is a civilization that has included our sun in a beloved constellation of some animal we couldn't dream up if we tried

HELLO ! have you thought about Van Goghβs First Steps today ?
Here you go. This world is beautiful. Humans are beautiful. I love you
might I add: Rembrandt - First Steps
I just love how in the first book Nightingale is introduced as this ancient all knowing beeing ....just to quickly find out that dude has no clue whats going on 8 ot of 10 times and has to go ask google (research in the libraries) anything because he was NOT paying attention eather in class or in London ...and thats more than a bit relatable
Love to see Aaronovitch continuing his trend of giving us absolute one-page-heartstopper-scenes of Peter and Nightingale in the penultimate or last chapter of his books, this time with the gut-punch banger of "How do you cope?", "With what?", "With losing people?", "I rather think I'm the wrong person to ask. I didn't cope. Or, rather, I merely carried on until enough time had passed for things to settle.", "That's not very helpful.", "As I said, perhaps I'm not the right person to ask."
*cue pterodactyl screeching, screaming, crying, throwing up & sounds of explosion in the distance*

It's a shame Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is one of those parodies whose author clearly feels the source material is beneath them and thus doesn't put much thought into how they're sending it up because a Regency zombie apocalypse that properly Examines the Implications sounds like a really fun time.
Rivers of London and Slow Horses crossover where it's just Nightingale and Lamb discussing their protege's tendencies toward property damage
Peter, in each book: Iβm going to defeat you with the power of friendship and this sweet spell I conjured
the thing about Ryan is that it is physically impossible for him to drink anything without being confused. the two go hand in hand for him. he cannot be holding a glass, mug or cup without his face automatically turning to π€¨
