037/365 - How do you like it? (: This is dedicated to Gutter Moon, the first song I ever heard by @volaband and immediately made me fall in love with them. Heck, I even named one of my birds after them 🕊 I’m excited for their new album, so I was lying around the other day and put on Inmazes and once I start, I can never stop before I listened through the whole album. So I just closed my eyes and let my brain paint to it while listening, which made me want to make a faux single artwork for Gutter Moon, because it would be a dream come true to make art for bands that I love so much in the future - so why not just do it? It eventually transformed into this animated one and I‘ll definitely experiment more with animation in the future, it was so much fun, and there‘s deffo room for improvement! 036/365 - 🌱A loss always hits you hard, you’re never prepared. I had to deal with a few losses this last year, one more just two days ago - and one thing it always reminds me: how precious and limited our time in life is. It always makes me want to let the people close or far to me know, that I love and appreciate them. I often think about all the people that I once was close to, how precious that time was and how they made me who I am today. 035/365 - 🌱I dedicated today to actually learning something and did some 15 minute value studies, which is something I‘ve never done before which is one of the reasons why I feel I‘m struggling with being able to reproduce the images I have in my head. I realized that I‘m lacking important fundamentals of painting and after only one day, I can tell that I‘m on the right track, if I start and keep practicing them! 027/365 - Really dislikig this one and thought about not uploading it at all, but sometimes things just don‘t work out and I need to make peace with that and accept it. I tried to finish it up as much as I could bear and I‘m happy I didn‘t just abandon it, even though it was hard to push through because I didn‘t like it early on. I guess I just should‘ve taken more time with thumbnailing! ✨ I‘ve been really self-conscious about my art lately, in a negative way, and I don‘t really know why. Sometimes it just feels like everything I do is just extremely pointless and that I‘ll never be a good artist, because all I can focus on are the flaws. I think it‘s important to feel this way sometimes, though, to learn to keep going no matter what. Why?
