iāve always wondered why some people feel drawn to dark, macabre art while others look away from it. so I finally wrote about it.

I didnāt want to draw Medusa as a victim or a villain.
I wanted her to feel ancient. Divine. Dangerous. Beautiful in the way eclipses are beautiful.
MEDUSSA became a ritual more than a project ā an illustrated poem about transformation, rage, femininity, horror, and the sacred nature of becoming untouchable.
These pages are meant to feel as something half-new, half-memory. Like something discovered in a temple at the bottom of the ocean.
