Ah, the feeling of falling asleep to one gaming video about a game you've never played and walking up halfway through a different video about a game you've never played

Finally getting into Steven Universe so long after the show began has been honestly really fun. Rebecca Sugar did so much for queer media that it's kind of insane how much they actually did. I likely wouldn't have as much of an option to do the work I want to do without them.

Anyway, trying to finish the two seasons of it before my birthday (which I actually share with Rebecca Sugar) because it feels weird being aroace and not having a lot of knowledge on Peridot despite her being one of the most known aroace characters.

I have never understood why people don't like wrinkles. Wrinkles tell people that you have smiled, you have cried, and that you have spent life present and living, and that's beautiful. I love smile lines especially because they tell me that you have spent time finding joy in things.

Hypnotism

I got hypnotized for the first time yesterday, and I think a lot of media representation is really, really misleading. Being hypnotized requires some level of active participation in order to be hypnotized in the first place, and it doesn't get rid of your senses, but it does change your reaction to things, which is interesting.

In any case, I felt really relaxed after and my friend is still annoyed I called her a bunny, which is fun.
