I'm learning that you DO NOT have to put up with people raising their voice at you or yelling at you, and you especially do not deserve to take it from men. women and femme people constantly put up with casual loudmouthed behaviour and people aggressively talking at or over them because that is the way men are encouraged to argue, but once you determine exactly the way you feel comfortable being spoken to, it makes it easier to stand your ground. IF and only IF you feel comfortable and safe doing so, remind a man who casually raises his voice that he is not allowed to speak to you like that.
