I'm seeing so many BloodyMary fanarts where Simon wakes up after being rescued and instinctively tries to fight Grace, pushes him against walls or something, while Grace tries to talk him out of it.
But I offer you Ryland "It's been a while since I've taken pills from strangers" and "Staggering waste of carbon" Grace just... panickly swinging back.
Like, this man was a menace in College, so it's not so absurd to think he may have gotten in a few fights. He never won, and he has the most horrible technique ever, also, a shitty aim. He sucks at fighting.
Point is? he's so much stronger now, artificially stimulated muscles and all, and the adrenaline from being in immediate danger kicks in, so the moment Simon's hands (hand?) reach his shirt, Grace screeches like a little girl and then throws the most diabolically precise and bone-breaking punch ever, landing it squarely in Simon's face.
The whole trip to Erid consist in Rocky never shutting up about how Simon "The Butcher" was put to sleep for almost two days by a single punch thrown by the most wet cat of a man, who's technique was so terrible he broke his hand while doing it.
Also, Grace had left his glasses somewhere else as usual, so yes, Simon was that fucking unlucky that he got hit with the strenght of an hammer and the accuracy of a sniper by the only good punch Grace ever threw while he was as blind as a mole.
