The metal bits at the end could be handles but it's always made out of metal, and while Mikey across the versions used a kusari-fundo (see in 2012 s1 finale where Leo uses Mikey's kusari-fundo to hold back Krang prime, and s3 ep 7 where Raph explicitly mentions it), Rise Mikey's mistic weapon is not that.

Now, while this looks nothing like any japanese weaponry I know of, I would say it's more similar to a kusarigama without the blade:

Or a chigiriki with a shorter handle:

Or even a Flail, which is from europe:

The lenght of the chain doesn't exactly matter, since it's mistic.

My main argument towards it being a chigiriki is bc Mikey is seen wielding his veapon by the handle, one and two handed too, and never using the chain itself as a grip to leave both ends open as a veapon, like one would do with the Kusari-fundo or the kusarigama.

This is the same argument with the flail, except here even the handle size matches up, so...

Also, on that note, this is not technically an odachi:

Odachi is bigger and usually a two-handed weapon.
