The first was a trans woman telling everyone how she had been systematically abandoned and called a predator by nearly everyone she knew and loved, how she had said bitch at a women's self defense class and suddenly she was a man in everyone's eyes. I remember how her pain felt to read

The second was by a trans man, he said that over time as he passed more and more as a man he was slowly ousted from queer spaces, being told that his presence made others uncomfortable and he lost his community that had helped him for so so long, even if that came with privilege in other places it did not erase his identity as trans which makes him inherently marginalized

These experiences are very different and yet the takeaway u had received was that transitioning is an isolating experience, that for every day you get to enjoy the person you are now, there will be a day to mourn your old relationships, your friends who stopped keeping in touch, even if there are gendered differences in our pain it is still pain regardless, and in queer, safe spaces trans men are indeed being pushed out for their identities

I always see claims that trans women are consistently ousted/bullied/harassed by trans men but I've yet to see an example that isn't simply just bad actors, it feels like we're dipping back into bio essentialism or some bullshit boys vs girls fight, it always ends in some "all tmes are evil and shot my dog" and it seems more like a projection of what cis people say about us than any sort of rational thinking, isolating yourself and bullshit community discourse will just make us more miserable and easier targets during a genocide
