so my cat went to the vet recently which cost me about 500€, on top of me having to pay a little bit more than that on rent, and not having any work shifts on the second half of june which means im not getting paid until the very tail end of july. im behind on rent, i managed to pay like half of it at least but its still the most urgent thing. and who knows if we have more vet visits to come cause my cat is still refusing to eat well and shes going on medication now so she'll need control visits within the next month or two. which will also be costly (however i should hopefully have work shifts by then so maybe that'll be mostly covered. i hope)

on top of that, theres food and bills and other expenses that need to be paid and i really do not get paid until the 27th at earliest and i have. like 300€ to my name which should all be going to my rent. i have applied for payment help but since they usually dont cover animal costs and my funds are all over the fucking place, idk how well that'll go; and even if it gets approved, i will have to wait for at least a week, most likely more, to get any of that money, so...

costs include food and bills and other expenses i quickly counted at the moment and i should be able to make it to my next payday. again, unless something urgent comes around and she needs to go back to the vet, for example, if she manages to get worse again which. is a very high possibility tbh. so this is the very lowest possible goal i can set at this moment

it’s not weird to go through the authors profile and look for other fics from the ships you like (or maybe some that you’ll give a chance because you liked the author) and maybe bookmark them for later.

it’s not weird to read these other fics and like them too and comment on them because you actually like them and you want to let the author know.

it’s not weird to read fanfiction from 5, or 8, or 10 years ago and actually enjoy and engage with it because it’s perfectly normal to relate to something that’s less than a decade old!
