Looking back on it, I think a cool detail that may or may not just be me stretching things (bc I am currently half a bottle of mascato down while posting this) in season 4 of Stranger Things, and it’s about Gareth of all people.

Gareth’s last name is Emerson… shocking, I know.

But given Eddie’s whole vampire motif where it almost felt like he was supposed to become a vampire but never did, I think there’s something kinda interesting when you consider Gareth’s last name.

… The Emerson’s were the ones who moved to California in The Lost Boys.

An 80s movie… about VAMPIRES.

…anyways that’s the whole post. I haven’t watched season 4 since it was released and never kept up with anything outside the show, so honest to god maybe I sound like a complete idiot.

People always act like confirming a character as trans(especially transfem because its seen as a more regressive and less radical identity) is "rigid" and "stops further discussion of the character" because they view trans people as "far from 'normal' aka cis people"

So while this person was trying to say that they were still perpetuating that idea. It's hella weird to say
