This is an awareness post, for a user popular in the Mario/Koopalings community.
This person admited to tracing and stealing art. This wouldn't bother me if their art wasn't getting super popular, but it has gotten over 100 notes, which kinda sucks to see. That support should go to the original artists.

Part 1- Tracing Other's Art
Their artstyle changes with every single drawing, and I don't mean like a regular artist would change their artstyle. That combined with the thick, wobbly, and inconsistent lines are really suspicious. These pictures in particular look familiar, however, I can't find them at the moment, but I do have some I was able to find pictures for.
Like this. (Note: I don't support the original artist, they ship Iggy x Ludwig, I just knew for a fact I had seen it before.) The backgrounds look AI generated as well.

Part 2- Stealing Art
No credit for any of the artists in these posts. I'm not sure who the first image is by, but I know for a fact I have seen it before. The second is by Kairy Draws, and the third is by Bowsaremyfriends I believe.
Part 3- Having to DM an artist to get them to be credited.
Two years ago, I DMed the artist sweetblueberrymuffin to let them know their art had been stolen. They did technically add credit, but only in the last "day" of the post where all the characters filled in the wheel, they didn't credit them in any of the other posts still. But those didn't get any traction to be fair, so as long as the artist doesn't care, I don't care.
Part 4- The weird conversation I had in the DMs.
It seems they admitted to tracing but refuse to take the posts down, I tried to understand their point of view, but they refuse to take the posts down. I also thought they were a really young kid at first, but it turns out they're 17. Still a minor, but old enough to know better.
Okay, I just wanted to spread awareness. One more time PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT harass this user. Just block and move on.
Also as a note, I thinking tracing is okay for practice, especially as a beginner artist, but posting it multiple times without credit and refusing to take them down is crazy behavior.

I'll be posting some new designs for each of my Koopz this week, with random headcanons I have for each of them, then post Bowz and Junior at the end! :] Because I forgot to post on Bowser day π₯²
Here are some random headcanons I have for him under the cut if you even carr:
He's 15 years old, and 5'5" in height, making him the second shortest of the seven siblings.
As the youngest of seven, he's often felt overshadowed by his older siblings.
He has red-green colorblindness.
He tends to be kinda clumsy and trips a lot of the time, hence why he frequently has bandaids on his knees.
He loves tennis (obviously), and enjoys playing various sports
Since him and Junior are the youngest, they frequently bond over playing video games together. (Even if he finds Junior kinda annoying)
He's a huge foodie.
He loves blue raspberry and was disappointed once he found out it wasn't a real fruit when he was younger.
He goes with Roy to the Electrodrome to DJ
He looks up to Roy & Ludwig.
He's pan :] (not like a frying pan, I mean the orientation π)
He's full biological brothers with Ludwig, and half biological siblings with Roy & Wendy.
Here are some of my random headcanons for them under the cut:
Iggy is 20 years old, and 7'0", making him the third oldest and second tallest of the seven siblings.
They are twins with Lemmy, and ironically, Lemmy is 5 minutes older.
She is a nonbinary butch lesbian, that goes by they/he/she
They love sci-fi movies. Them & Roy often bond over talking about movies together.
His magic is very plant based.
Him and Ludwig used to be really close as kids, but as they grew up, Ludwig became more distant.
He likes cybergoth fashion
A chain chomp whisperer, has multiple pet chain chomps he cares for.
His hair is naturally rainbow like Lemmy's, he started dying it green as a teen to differentiate himself from Lemmy.
When working on his inventions and such he tends to use acronyms or shorthand that only he understands when writing things down.
They learned about their own prescription so they can make their own glasses. The ones they currently wear were powered up by themselves to be fireproof, overall hardier, etc.
He has a green thumb, and tends to a piranha plant garden.
Specializes in acid magic
Has their own lab where they work on inventions, potions, and such.
Her eye color variation is a rare mutation, and causes her some sight issues, hence her thick glasses.
He's a huge jokester, and likes joking around with others and sometimes provoking them, which gets him into huge trouble if he's not careful.
Banned from cooking, she once somehow both burnt and undercooked chicken nuggets at the same time.
He loves edm & techno music, also listens to some of the most trash mixes you've ever heard

Some Koopaling references I saw in the Mario Galaxy movie!!

Below the cut is a yap fest on my theories on how the Koopalings would be implemented if they appear in the third Mario Movie
SMGM spoilers btw!!
People keep saying they'll be Jr's friends from boarding school but nobody has been addressing that it doesn't make sense. The reason being that it doesn't rlly line up with him remembering Bowser telling him that friends suck & family being the only thing that matters. There was also that line "let your guard down, friends will stab you in the back" If they were his friend group previously, they'd be mentioned lets be fr. Also, Ludwig is nearing 20 at the youngest y'all. Graduates though? I can see that.
Okay, here's a list of my theories.
1. They're fans of Bowser and want to work alongside him.
2. They were in boarding school, but graduated & went off to do their own thing while Junior was still in boarding school, and he feels like they abandoned him, bc they were the only ones to be friends with him in boarding school, and he felt lonely after they left.
3. They're already Bowser's generals, they're just busy with their buisnesses from Mario Kart, and waiting to be called upon for assistance. Which could mean...Kamek will be the one to hire them to free the Bowsers from jail.
4. Since they aren't Bowser's kids, maybe they'll make them into Junior's older cousins. (I highly doubt this though, I think Miyamoto would rather go bald than make Bowser & the Koopalings related again, I'm just throwing it in here.)
5. They're a villain group for hire that'll be hired by Kamek, they break the Bowsers outta jail, the Koopalings volunteer to help Bowser defeat Mario, Bowser is happy abt that, and that makes Jr feel insecure, so he tries all sorts of things to try & impress his Dad. Then he'd have an arc kinda like in Bowser Jr's Journey where he learns that he needs the Koopalings to help him & his father.
The final theory, which I highly doubt they'd go with, but still a cool theory I'm throwing in here. This was one that I saw someone else come up with:
6. They were Bowser's adopted kids, raised LONG before Junior. But they rebelled and became independent warlords. Bowser never spoke about them because he regards them as traitors. Junior doesn't know that they exist. Their betrayal of him caused Bowser to believe that he was a terrible father, so he sent Junior off to boarding school at a very young age.

Alright, there are my thoughts.
Also, they better bring back Tatanga for the third movie, it would make so much sense!! He could be the "dark forces" coming after Peach & Rosalina. I also better see Morton being as sweet as he is in Bowser Jr's Journey!!
I hope that in the next movie IF they appear that they're handled well, and are treated as older sibling figures/mentors to Junior, it would be so sweet.
Idk if I'll be crucified for this, but the more I think abt it, the more I lowkey realize the Koopalings not being in the next movie MIGHT be a good thing
Cuz the Illumination movies are known for making some stupid decisions, but idk, maybe I'm being paranoid
But if they were to appear, I made a very simple list for Nintendo to NOT screw up-
1. Don't retcon them to be Junior's age
2. Keep them as siblings
3. Make them huge (Jr is the size of Mario, so Roy BETTER be HUGE)
4. Don't screw them up & do them dirty
