Oh he’s a good dad, a lot of palettes optimism probably comes from Days parenting. Day does front a lot!

Detail.. Dreams eye lights change depending on who’s fronting, whenever Day is there his eyelights are that rounder classic bright yellow! Owl tends to have a dull smaller white/pale yellow, shattered will have only one eyelight on, and swan- yk swan for some reason his likes being bright and colorful.

Oh but yeah you’ll actually see Day being one of the main fronts, Dream really tries to hold onto a positive masking and Day represents that trait well. Day likely is an ex host of the system, Owl just is fronting the most now because they are in their shame and guilt era I guess.

I think the most interesting thing about Day is his self soothing. He functions well with Owl because he manages to get owl out of spirals. Day really is just a lot like classic dream- holding the burden of everything they’ve been through but having to act functional and kind.

He feels just as lost as Owl does, but he knows if he breaks down like that and loses hope they will all fall apart. I guess you could say he’s owls guardian of positivity…❤️

Owl is very,, perplexed by Swan.. Swan likes Owl and Day in his special way. Day would have to mediate between them quite frequently

Ink very early on was very anxious and jealous of Dreams dedication to worship.

Imagine meeting this dude who asks to learn about your religion then the next day he’s carved your gods name into his neck. It made ink really amp up the stakes of his faith because he desperately wanted creation to be his.

Ink really feels abandoned from his creator. Secretly he is quite jealous of all creations that have active creators who are invested in them. Ink looks to Dreams situation and (as bad as it sounds) is jealous that at least Dream has someone who is invested in him.

Ink thinks if himself as a hollow empty person, devoid of any personality or defining qualities- to him the lack of uniqueness is why he thinks his creator left him. (None of this is true btw it’s just ink has a hard time understanding and identifying his own emotions) He also compares himself to Dream who is well.. quite inherently fascinating

It’s why he acts quite bubbly and cheery when he’s under the light of creation, he’s anxiously proving that he’s worth having around, that he’s a good character,,that he can help.

He technically can take any form but the most natural for atrophy would just be a large gross fungal mass. He should look like a really old crime scene covered in bones, teeth, rot-

One of the reasons Swan adopts a more militant look isn’t just because he’s a loyal knight to the omegatimeline.

It’s also because Swans identity forms at a time in his early adult years. Dream just learnt about creationism but came out of it feeling a little disconnected- so swan at the moment is exploring the Host cult.

The host god and angels tend to see Dream in general as a little solider boy. They like making him reactant a lot of military based fannon stories or survivalist aus- apocalypse stories-

When you are apart of the host cult you need to give something to entertainment, there’s different ways to do it like fresh works as guidance for fannon stories- you can volunteer to be an actor of sorts, a little play thing available for asks or fun scenarios with angels.

So he just Rps as a general a lot I guess? Maybe acting is a better way to put it

Dream in general likes gift making. All parts of dream are very talented at carving. Though I don’t think anyone gives Dream things. I think the only person who does is palette (and they cherish it!)

If you gave swan a wooden bird he’d be very happy. Marriage, immediate friendship, knightly dedication- or at least he’d offer to do something for you.

As a side note- in headspace swan actually has well.. swan wings! Like how swap dream has big bird wings, except this guy has large blackish white ones.
