he would def be more sane and have less murderous tendences, probably wouldnt be an outright villain but would still hold the same opinions about the renegades (less intensly), and the way only the ones with "good" powers are valued. Would prob end up part of The Rejects (thought he wouldnt apply for the renegades, he would just try to get there cuz he reasonated with the people and their experiences and concerns) and so end up being a 'villain' either way.

so! They have never met, and im not sure if they ever will. If they did meet, it would most likely be in a fight since theyre from opposite sides.

what they think of each other, currently(keeping in mind they only know as eacher as villain/hero):

I can see two possible outcomes in a fight between them two, depending if Misery is fighting alone or no

Misery's power has a water element, the tears when she uses it so that would be a advantage to Owen. If Misery attacks first, getting Owen by surprise, she could throw him off just enough so he wouldnt be able to create enough flowers for her to get unconscious or even die, with the usual choking tecnic. If she is with someone else, while Owen is still halluciating, that person could knock him out which would make the flowers die, and so Misery would be mostly ok. Now, if she was alone that would complicate due to her tears. Since her tears would be turning into flowers too that could possibly weaken her powers, making the hallucination less vivid and without anyone else to help, Owen would most defnetly win. He would probably not kill her, since he usually doesn't kill younger renegades, he still has faith they might see the errors of the Council and turn agaisnt them too (most of the times, when hes feeling nice)

If Owen attacks first, getting Misery by surprise he would win almost immediatly. her tears would already be in flowers and she wouldnt be able to properly use her power

now IF they werent on opposite sides or for some reason got past that (they wouldnt but just so i can show this scenario) i think there is a small chance they could be friends! theres a big chance they would just not get along at all too sjssj.. BUT if they got along

Ellen is overly emotional and Owen is under emotional (?), he mostly just laughs like a maniac regardless of the situation so they could somwhow balance each other... and theyd LOVE to give fashion advice to each other, go shopping. If they were friends Owen would most likely be over protective and Ellen wouldnt mind one bit. Owen is not good at handling with other's emotions but he would make small flowers on her tears when she cried like just trying to comfort and i think it would work. I think they could actually fix each other, or at least make each other less bad...
