As a vampire, he allowed himself to rest his face more since he believed that if he looked 'mean ', people wouldn't wanna mess with him, and he'd fit more into the idea of someone seen as a 'beast.'

So what if the Hemlocke's survived the fire, and, for some reason, Pyro is blamed for it in an attempt to kill his father and claim the company. He is then told, as said in Vampires smp, that he had 2 choices- leave the family and be disinherited, or face the punishment for a crime he did not commit (assuming the original crime he claimed to have been accused of was a claim for manipulation). Therefore, he left the Hemlocke estate, travelled to Oakhurst, and became Vampires Pyro.
