This Oreo Cheesecake Chocolate Cake is the ultimate chocolate dessert to indulge in! This dessert is a show-stopper, with layers of chocolate cake, creamy cheesecake, and a rich chocolate ganache.
Ingredients: 1 box chocolate cake mix. Ingredients required for the cake mix e.g., eggs, oil, water. 24 Oreo cookies. 16 oz cream cheese, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 cup sour cream. 3 large eggs. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup heavy cream. Crushed Oreos for garnish optional.
Instructions: Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and preheat the oven to 350F 175C. As directed on the package, prepare the chocolate cake mix. Evenly distribute half of the cake batter into the pan that has been prepared. Cover the cake batter with 12 Oreo cookies. Cream cheese should be beaten until creamy in a mixing bowl. Mix in vanilla extract and sugar until smooth. Mix in the sour cream and gradually beat in the eggs one by one. Evenly distribute the cream cheese mixture over the Oreos in the pan. Spread out the remaining cake batter after pouring it on top of the cream cheese layer. A toothpick inserted into the cake should come out clean after 45 to 50 minutes of baking; the cheesecake layer may still be slightly jiggly during this time. Let the cake cool fully in the pan on a wire cooling rack. The heavy cream should be heated to a simmer in a small saucepan. Take off the heat and transfer to a heatproof bowl with the chocolate chips. To make ganache, stir the chocolate until it's smooth and fully melted. Evenly spread the ganache over the cooled cake after pouring it on. Add crushed Oreos as a garnish if you'd like. Before serving, let the cake cool in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight. Cut into pieces and savor your mouthwatering Oreo Cheesecake Chocolate Cake!
