Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup assorted Halloween-themed candies e.g., candy corn, chocolate chips, M&M's.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9-inch pie dish. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing well to combine. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Fold in the assorted Halloween-themed candies into the dough. Press the cookie dough evenly into the greased pie dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the cookie pie cool in the dish for 10 minutes. Using a knife, gently loosen the edges of the cookie pie from the dish.
