Delicious pumpkin bars topped with creamy cream cheese frosting, perfect for fall or any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup pumpkin puree. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 2 eggs. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice. 4 ounces cream cheese, softened. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. A 9x13-inch baking pan should be greased. Pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs should all be mixed together well in a large bowl. To the pumpkin mix, add the salt, baking soda, baking powder, flour, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix it up until it's just right. Put the batter into the baking pan that has been prepared and spread it out evenly. Put it in an oven that has already been heated for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Make the cream cheese frosting while the bars are baking. Beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until the frosting is smooth and creamy. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the top of the bars once they are completely cool. Serve it cut up into squares.
