Get to know Fi, IXTJ’s tertiary function!
hrk i know this is old art but here some quick doodles and explanation of Fi. Keep in mind though Fi is a merely a function and how it works depends on how the user uses it.
Fi stands for Introverted feeling, it focuses more of self feeling and emotions rather than the group’s
In IXTJs Fi is a child function (Tertiary) often used in relaxing/more laidback situations, means even though Fi isn’t used for main decision-making business it still plays a role in IXTJs
Fi knows what is important to them and tend to follow their own heart more rather than what the group’s
Unhealthy Fi manifests in selfish actions but healthy Fi manifests in strong sense of self and moral values, also caring about other people’s Fis!
If you have Te in main stack, you have Fi. That also works the other way around. MBTI types that uses Fi are : XXTJs and XXFPs but the way they use it differs depending on which order in the stack they are
Tend to take things more personally, I describe Fi as “Still waters runs deep” that applies to emotions
Value authenticity above harmony
I guess that’s the basics of Fi, it’s very simplified though so feel free to find more info about Fi! :]
