Oh anon, I just know she was screaming, crying, and throwing up while forcing herself to type that out so she could get some likes from a bunch of other people just like her whose actions never match their pro Sam tweets 😭
Anyway, since you can’t throw a rock in the SamBucky fandom without seeing somebody recommending a fic by the fandom’s most popular author, you know, Ms. Thinks Sam Is An Incompetent Bully, everyone will just have to forgive me if I don’t take tweets like the one above seriously. The fic authors I’ve seen write Sam with the most care and respect — the ones I’ve seen write Sam the most accurately, whether we’re talking canon based fics or AUs — regularly get paid dust by this fandom. And even the ones who have a core group of loyal readers are never raved about the way that the authors who blatantly dislike him and favor/center Bucky the most are on this app and everywhere else.
Also, let’s all just keep it a buck, if there’s enough smut in the fic, a lot of these shippers, particularly on Twitter, wouldn’t care how anybody was written, least of all Sam. Again, I’ve seen the links some of them share, and it’s beyond clear that they ain’t never given a single solitary damn how Sam is written or whether the author even liked him as a character.
I’m such a strict sambucky-er cause no you can’t mention stucky, winterwidow, whatever the hell bucky x yelena’s ship name is, or honestly any Bucky ship except for winteriron SOMETIMES!!! around me or I’ll go insane
