when you and rodrick first began dating, he was so shocked he bagged you, and what shocked him even more was that you actually wanted to spend time with him.
You caught Rodrick stuffing assignments that you know will definitely be done by Frank into his locker. You walk up to Rodrick, seemily too busy shoving miscellaneous things into his locker he doesn't acknowledge you until you speak.
"Hi Roddy," His cheeks tint a deep pink as he hears the nickname only you call him. "Hi," he utters. "I was wondering if you maybe wanted to come over mine tonight? My dad has a shit ton of DVDs, and he has Godzilla 2..you said you wanted to watch that.."
His eyes grow wide as he listens to you ramble. He finally spoke,"You remember that?"
Your lips curl, looking back at that fond memory, "Of course I do! You took me to that pizza place...and we shared that peperoni pizza...which most of it ended up on your shirt and then you took me to 7/11 to get slushies, and you told me in that field near my house after we talked for hours," you continued, "thank you for that, Roddy."
That sweet smile that's glued to your face made his knees buckle, "y-yeah, of course, no problem."
"So..? Do you want to come over tonight?" You grin, your nimble hand rests on his chest. He looks down at your twinkling eyes staring up at him expectantly. His breath hitches at the touch but barely plays it cool. "Fuck..yeah, I'll come over."
You squeal at his confirmation, and you shift onto your toes to plant a kiss to his cheek. "I'll see you later, Roddy!" You exclaim as you start walking to your next class.
"Yeah, later." He smiles to himself, eager to tell his friends about his date tonight.
