this is the part of the story where i don’t give up. it’s hard trying so hard, to have moments of set backs. but realistically i have the rest of my life to get it right. i don’t need to be in a rush anymore. i lost nearly 90lbs in 6 months. that’s insane. that’s not necessary. i didn’t have time to process. this time i will. i am going to go at a good pace. i am not going to deprive myself of basic needs. humans need to eat. humans need to thrive. that’s what i’m going to do. today was day one, of the next chapter in my life.

I just spent like 3 hours painting. And that was just the first coat. I am so exhausted 😥 did you know painting burns about 300 calories an hour? No wonder I'm hungry 🤣

I broke my plateau!!! Woke up 2.2lbs lighter than i did yesterday! I honestly believe it’s because I started using the 30 minute workout machines at planet fitness. I didn’t do the workout they lay out, but i did my own various workouts in it and i think changing up the routine is really what i need! I’ve always known body’s need to be consistently challenged to continue to grow & improve, but i was just always so scared to try these new machines, especially when the gym is busy lmao.
But i found a quiet little moment and was able to introduce myself to this new equipment, i’m very excited to see all the new ways I can challenge myself. Today i plan to use those same machines, and maybe venture out to some new ones. I’d also like to complete 2 miles on the treadmill. I’ve been stopping around 1.5 miles lately just because that’s how far i typically get in 30 minutes but I think it would be beneficial for me to pay more attention to my goals of what i’m doing, versus how long i’m working towards my goals. It’s just difficult when i’m adding in speed as well lol.
I can walk on a high incline forever, and be burning calories like a machine. But once I try to add in speed, or track how fast I can run a mile, i feel so dead lmao. It’s strange too bc I burn more calories walking slower on a high incline than i do just running, but aye, one day i’ll build up the duration, distance & speed i’m looking for :)
