#dispatch fic idea

Ik its a bug. But I want someone with writing skills to write a fic where this list is an IN-UNIVERSE thing. Because imagine the Z team snooping in the database and going through their respective files and being"Yeah, this tracks" and then they go to Waterboy's and theyre prob laughing abt it like "His worst crime is probably jaywalking or something" only to be met with

Aggravated Assault

Extortion

First Degree Murder-

-waterboy getting sick of stuttering on his words

-waterboy deciding to just stay quiet the entire day to not embarrass himself even more than he usually does

-Z-team + Robert noticing the absence of stuttering and voice in general and getting worried

-them worrying in their own dumb ways while waterboy doesn't even notice

-until they come up to him straight up and call him out for it

-waterboy just being quiet and the entire gang stressing about it

-waterboy is confused and concerned as to why they're acting like that

Robert Robertson the Third isn't human, and neither is his "father", and Robert Robertson the first is the only human?

Like, maybe Robert the First built the Mech Suit, and then got worried about his inevitable death.

(but he didn't have time- or maybe some other health issue- to have/raise a kid or get a Protégé.)

So instead he created a wildly advanced humanoid robot to act as his son/successor, meant for replacing him after his death.

(Or maybe he got magic people involved, so it's like a technology-magic robot-golem hybrid or something (lol, sentience through magic > the electrical consumption that a fully tech based AI system would require)?)

This worked, and once Robert the Second had been the Mecha Man for a while, he decided he should also create a 'backup'/successor/"son" for if he inevitably got destroyed.

With the advancement of science, maybe he even managed to make his "son" some sort of android that could simulate the appearance of 'growing up' like a human. So he started out looking like a kid, but over time his mechanisms would de-compact slowly into a fully adult form

(He could also use some science-magic stuff to make him a robot-golem hybrid thing, like Robert the First did for him, too.)

This, obviously, adds a whole new layer of angst for Robert the Third about being a hero and not really having another choice considering his entire existence and all that stuff. so on and so forth.

It would also make the whole 'same name passed down from generation to generation' thing make a fun new kind of sense.

Imagine this, the mech suit is actually sentient

The astral pulse developed to a far more than just an energy source

The mech was gradually becoming more aware especially after Robbie's death

And since Robert took over really young (let's say for this au 13-14 years old) the suit developed parental like behavior, like moving on its own when a hit is directly where Robert is or putting on safety protocols when he's injured

Maybe even the one that cut Flamebae fingers off because Robert was being cooked alive inside

(Z team witnessing the protective nature of the suit as well because damn it they're all family)

And Robert slowly come to that realization, he doesn't know how to feel about the suit being sentient, but he knows he doesn't feel alone anymore

And he's young and desperate to any kind of company and family bonds so he grows to look at the suit as his parent

Then the explosion happens, and the suit uses all its remaining strength to keep Robert safe and alive when they fell

And Robert falls into depression because he just lost another parent (one that actually cared for him more than his biological flesh one)

And even when they rebuilt the suit, it's not recognizing Robert or worse, not even sentient, it's consciousness was stored in the astal pulse so it could come back when it's body was rebuilt

And that's why, even if shroud took the astral pulse, it would reject him, either killing him or using his body to find Robert

-him just being so dumbfounded because people ship him with his co-workers?

-and him also being embarrassed by the amount of vile tags

-including the fluffy and angsty ones

-doesn't matter, since most of them are walking HR violations,

-and they do look decent, really

-but he's confused that people think he even has a chance

-or think that he could pull any of them

-he does and he's too oblivious to know

-literally, he gets flirted with by absolutely anyone and everyone in the Z-team but he thinks its just them going against HR

-he still reads them anyway, because everyone's weird ideas are somewhat mortifying and almost gratifying in its own way

-him being surprised about the fact that people would use so much time writing stories that have him of all people in it

herman just being intimidating without meaning to because he barely speaks (he hates his stutter, gotta do something about it), so he just doesn't speak a lot in general

The people who know him well usually see him as a goofy, pathetic, wet boy (ahem, z-team, ahem), and they absolutely fucking love him for it

A lot of people's first impression of Herman is that he's scary, tall, quiet, has goggles that cover most of his eyes, and always slouching (in a way that should give him back pain)

He's one of the most intimidating out of the Z-team (in villains, and maybe even the civilians opinion)

Imagine doing a robbery and some random tall ass guy who isn't even talking, just murmuring into his earpiece, literally walks up to you and water boards your ass, wouldn't want that to happen

The Z-team absolutely loves it when people start screaming loudly because he's walking closer in the most menacing way anyone could ever do it

They film it every single time and just use it as reaction pics if they feel like it

Herman is so embarrassed about it, and is always wondering why people are even scared of him, except kids, apparently, and some civilians who sort of knows a few about his personality

Assholes get punched in the face by the entire team the moment they say something about the way he walks talks or does anything

-Waterboy having back pain for slouching so much (me too)

-feels some fatigue sometimes

-his vision goes white or rainbow when he stands up too fast or gets dizzy

-he has a habit of cracking a few knuckles when he's fidgeting and nervous

-gets even more fidgety when it's cold, to keep himself warm

-gets cold easily especially on his hands and feet

-literally got hypothermia after going outside in a cold weather (winter sucks ass sometimes)

-his body hurts when he stays outside for too long because it's freezing cold and he's literally always soaked in water

-his body heat is almost non-existent, literally, his body is cold, human cooler

-gets sluggish during winter and his body slows down

-people can literally see some parts of his body start forming ice because, water

-it freezes his body so bad, that his insides feel cold too (it's a bad feeling, sigh)

-it slowly gets so bad during winter that the z-team (and Robert, duh) starts worrying, yet don't know exactly how to help

-Waterboy keeps on coming up with an excuse to still work because he feels useful when he does

-its concerning, because he almost got hospitalized on shift because of being so cold

-the entire team literally has to watch him just to make sure he doesn't pull something like that again

-Waterboy feels bad for worrying them, but he feels like he's being productive when he keeps his body moving

-they might as well chain him onto something so that he can't go out and work
