i like to headcanon that waterboy is the type of person that can only fall asleep when it's loud. like, when there's a lot of noise, this is when he's feeling the most comfortable and gets sleepy. during a lot of z-team's outings, where royd comes along, herm ends up falling asleep on his shoulder.

and robert is like. a cat. he lays on top of royd like a cat and immediately falls asleep because royd's heartbeat makes him sleepy. that's his usual nap spot

usually, when i imagine any waterboy ship having a child, i like to think that they end up being just a tiny version of herman. a little ginger ball of anxiousness.

while with wateroyd, it's kind of... otherwise? they end up with a boy, who's just a smaller version of royd. in size and in personality (the pregnancy was... really rough for herm. his baby bump was really bigger than usual)

he ends up being a very calm baby. he didn't even cry much when he was younger, and as he grew, he just started to become even more like royd.

i usually hc that herm's granny doesn't allow herm to have boys or girls in his bedroom, especially since he started dating robert. robert is not allowed to stay for a sleepover, and herm is rarely allowed to stay for a sleepover at robert's house.

but i also hc that sometimes robert climbs through herm's window in the evening or at night, when they miss each other too much.

during one of those nights, when they were cuddling in herm's bed, they ended up falling asleep, so when herm's granny knocked in the morning to tell herm to wake up, robert immediately shoved himself under herm's blanket, before his granny could come in.
