gun violence is horrible and it should not ever be the answer. charlie kirk brought this upon himself by advocating for 2A, creating a politically charged environment, and actively PROMOTING gun violence.

those two sentences can and should exist at the same time. i believe that gun violence is a disgusting thing. ive had two lockdowns at my school and a shooting resulting in multiple deaths at a school near me. i also believe that charlie kirk was a horrible person who continued to grift, fear monger, and attack minorities, knowing something like this could very much happen to him.

i have an incredible amount of empathy for his children who watched their father die, to the people— no matter their political views —that had to see him get shot, and ran, scared that it was a school shooting and not an assassination. i have empathy for everyone in palestine and ukraine getting bombed, i have empathy for the countless children killed in school shootings, the parents who lost their kids, even a good amount of the shooters who had mental disorders and were victims of abuse and bullying. i have no empathy for the man who wouldnt bat a single fucking eye if i got shot. who wouldnt have had a single OUNCE of empathy for me. thus man didnt even believe in empathy.

"I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage."

this is the man that people are crying over. the one who said he would make his daughter carry a fetus to term if she was raped.

Reporter: "So, if you had a daughter and she was 10 and she got raped, and she was gonna give birth, and she would gonna give birth, would you want her to go through that and carry her baby?"

Kirk: "The answer is yes, the baby would be delivered."

so yeah. also, the last thing he said wasnt about loving his wife and children, it was attacking transgender and POC people.

i do not mourn a nazi. i do not mourn a fascist. i do not mourn the piece of shit named charlie kirk. i mourned the lives lost in the CO shooting. i mourned the victims of 9/11, despite kirk being the front page and a minuscule fucking graphic in the corner saying 'never forget' on a newspaper.
