As oblivious and unsuspecting as a deer in the sights of a hunter, trustingly drinking whatever is handed to her. Ridiculous. She is fortunate that Shen Qingqiu wishes her no ill will. He quietly stops bothering to pour a cup for himself, something which is barely noted upon. “It is too sweet,” is all he says upon questioning, before he adds, “I still have some left over, however. I will continue to brew it for you.” “Ah, would you?” Shen Yuan asks, brightening up a little. Pleased to be doted on. “Sorry if that’s inconvenient, but honestly that’s some of the best tea you’ve gotten your hands on yet. What’s it called?” It is an idle, incurious question. Shen Qingqiu deals with it appropriately. “I do not recall,” is what he says and, “I will look into it.” Shen Yuan hums an affirmative, and that is that.
