forever thinking about that girl at my uni orientation who, after being told to pour out her water bottle before entering an event, looked at me and said "they tell us to stay hydrated and then make us pour out our water, this is like totally kafkaesque" and then poured out what was very obviously an entire water bottle full of whiskey. hope she's doing well.

one time i had an old school runescape phase and i was sitting around grinding strength xp by doing some repetitive combat task when i just went "wait a second, I could be training my actual strength in real life instead of doing this" and it genuinely got me to go to the gym for like a year before the routine got mildly disrupted one week and then i stopped going

i feel like im pretentious about repression or whatever like oh they can identify and name their repressed desires thats like the boring level one repression wheres the level of repression where they cant even begin to contemplate their own desires because contemplating them is a slippery slope to actually having desires which is a slippery slope to everything
