I think it just kinda spawns, but maybe it's a bit of both? I have this massive story and lore in my head that's constantly running in the background and sometimes it feels more like I'm watching a show of my own characters rather than deciding everything myself, which is honestly pretty neat haha

They all have their own personalities and story arcs that are still ongoing, and I'm able to visualize things so clearly in my mind which definitely helps!

auh I'm sorry it took me so long to answer, but if you still remember what you were asking about, these two are Hiver and Melo! Right now I only have their feral forms, but maybe they’ll get proper refs in the future hehe

they’re partners in crime, "the eyes" and "the ears" of someone they work for. They're tapped for the smaller tasks and the dirty work.

They mostly bonded over being bullies haha, they find mocking others (and each other) rather compelling.

Hiver - "the eyes", he is provocative and overly dramatic and acts like his whole life is a tragedy. He doesn’t want to be "saved", he just wants to suffer like he’s in a theater play. He was born into a high-status family and is spoiled, but he refuses to ever be satisfied with anything he has.

His voice is feminine but notably monotonous. He’d sell anyone's deepest secrets (even his family’s) for cheap wine and will fixate on petty things, like his hair not being done right. He gets the job done, but he’s troublesome to work with; as aforementioned, he won’t do something if he doesn't like it or if it isn’t "theatrical" enough. Likes to dress in drag (1920s style)

Melo - "the ears" and also known as "the jester". He’s outwardly lazy and unbothered, but he uses his humor to pick people apart and hit them where it hurts. He acts like he doesn't take the job seriously, but he’s actually pretty good at it. He plays the fool a lot, but underneath he’s the type who would betray anyone for his own gain. He keeps his eyes hidden behind his bangs, but weirdly enough, he never stumbles or trips more than a normal person.
