I feel a bit conflicted cause on one hand rjs very seductive as an older person to view technology you didn't have as a cause of all evil (and a lot of that evil is younger people being younger than you and you forgetting how you were at that age) vs as someone who grew up with a lot of panics about evil if technology that were bullshit I think it feels sensible to dismiss anything as fear mongering but at same time like social media and phone apps are really designed so laser focus to keep attention and extract money form people that reafrively comparing it to video games cause school shooting rhetoric may be blinding yourself to actual issues idk
