man i hate doing this. hey guys (jester hat jingling) i regret to inform you all that bills are kicking our asses pretty bad this month. courtney’s dad passed away a couple months back, and in the aftermath we accumulated more debt while trying to navigate the difficult and dangerous situations her sister put us in. we’ve been back home and mostly settled for a while now, but the ripple effect is very much still hitting us in waves, and some weeks are better than others. this past couple have definitely not been some of the better weeks. i’ve had to miss a few days of work recently due to doctors appointments and illness, not to mention the multiple days missed back in april and may that our finances are still impacted by.

on top of this, our car is having several issues that are making it nearly undrivable. the power steering is leaking so badly that any fluid i put in is gone by the end of the day. the air conditioner is not working and we live in florida at the height of summer right now where there is no relief from the heat even in the dark. i work nights and still i show up to my office sweaty and tired from how hot the car gets, and doing anything during the day is even worse.

i know things are hard for just about everyone right now, and i seriously beg you guys not to overextend yourselves on our behalf. but if you can spare any help, it would go a very long way and we would be so deeply grateful.
