This is… the exact opposite of that dark souls gif
I don’t think it’s possible to adequately state how fucking ballsy and skilled this player is considering the EXTREMELY specific timing of that dodge and catching the spear attack WHILE TAUNTING BETWEEN EACH THROW
I’m wheezing
Big Dick Energy
I figured they were referring to this gif
Since they do the same pose and it really seems like the opposite outcome lol
Ah yes. Shroom.
wait, in the corner of the pride flag art…it can’t be

No really, what do you see, Anon? I can't see shit!
Upper left haNd appears to be a watermark, UNlike the lower right corner which might reqUire a bit of streNgth to see...
just checked and this doesn't seem to be a thing on windows 10, looks like you only have to worry if you're using windows 11
I have it under Devices in the Settings on Win10. What does it actually do tho? Why is everything at 0 for me? Because I only have an old arrred 2007 (or even 2003?) version of MS Word and assorted apps? I'll laugh if that's the case...
you can find it here
everyone keeps reblogging the version without the correction, please i dont want to accidentally spread misinformation

Google says it’s no different than checking IDs at the airport.
This is just another form of censorship, control of what we can/can't see and engage with, and another means of getting our private information.
Alternative forks of AOSP (Android Open-Source Project) which are not maintained by Google and will not be affected by this:
LineageOS (I use this one)
Graphene OS
Functionally they are virtually identical to stock Android. Android began as an open-source project, and these versions are built off of that.
Fuck Google.
for those like me who cannot install alternative android forks on their phone because the phone in question is thoroughly unrootable, I would recommend downloading anyapk on your phone while you still can. In their own words:
anyapk is a lightweight Android application installer that bypasses Google's developer verification requirements by using local ADB (Android Debug Bridge) connections. Smoothly install any APK file on your device without restrictions, gatekeepers, or corporate approval.
If you're reading this after Google's lockdown date and are unable to install anyapk the regular way, there is a method outlined on the github linked above which tells you how to install anyapk on your phone by plugging it into a computer with ADB installed on it. Once you have anyapk on your phone, you will not have to do that ever again (unless you delete anyapk off your phone)

What games is everyone looking forward too lately?
Mina the Hallower (the next franchise by Yacht Club Games, the people behind Shovel Knight) is coming out later this month and due to backing it on kickstarter, I am getting the code for not only the game but the soundtrack!
I recently finally claimed Koumei from my foundry, had to get her because I absolutely LOVE her aesthetically (shrine maiden AND a doll? what more could a girl want), but I'm a little unsure on how to actually play her. Seems like a lot of her kit is dealing statuses rather than outright damage, so maybe pairing with effects that proc on status? I've also been having problems with missions ending before I can actually finish an Omikuji challenge, but I haven't played too many missions with her.
Hi!
Koumei is kinda my main even though I'm fairly new and she's really fun to use.
There's basically two way (which can be combined) to play her: as a weapons platform, hoping (and cycling, remember you can reject a challenge that sucks) to get good Decrees to supercharge your weapons and murder people or use S1 and S4 as a Caster frame to murder people with status effects, since IIRC those scale with enemy levels, so there will never be a time were throwing a bunch of random statuses at enemies will be a bad idea, her S4 also immobilizes people and basically hit everyone you can see, giving you ample time to stab them. It's a great nuke even without investment.
Her unique gun looks cool but isn't very good. Her unique polearm, the Amanata isn't best in class but it's good enough and very funny, because suddenly you will roll all sixes and just supermurder people for the next 30 swings. I use it a lot.
Since both her offensive skills (and a bunch of Decrees) do statuses and she can randomly do extra status effects with her weapon attacks do to her passive, she obviously likes things that procc off non-specific status effects, a lot. You might never know if you will manage to procc specifically a Heat status on someone, but if you throw out a bunch of bullshit at them, they WILL get a bunch of statuses, just not a specific one.
Since all your stuff deals with status effects, you can forget Ability Strength and just go for efficiency, range, duration, things like that.
S1 also serves a secondary use as a short-lived trap, since the threads do statuses on people that walk into them, so you can lock down a corridor very effectively, if not for very long.
Starting a fight by throwing a S1 or S4 (depending on the toughness of the fight) is always a good idea.
Koumei is extremely powerful in longer missions and free-roam since all your Decree buffs are permanent and stack, so you can get pretty silly if things go on long enough. On the other hand, you might just get random bullshit that doesn't actually help you. Or you might roll "double melee damage" on your first one and be set for the mission. No way to know.
Or you might get a triple jump
She does have a bit of a hard time against bosses since status effects are more limited against them, but if you know you're up against a boss, you can always take a detour and try to farm random mooks for a couple of extra Decrees. If you get good ones (there's multiple ones that are basically"double damage"), you can take down bosses very effectively.
Her S3 is a extremely efficient survival skill outside of really tough things that can one-shot you, and also leans Koumei is a lot more resistant to toxin status than you might think, it allows you to be more cavalier with her health and stay in fights after your shields are gone longer than you otherwise could.
She's not the most powerful frame on the market, but she is very very fun. And very funny.
Tailoring her weapon loadout for making it easier to get Decrees is a good idea too, I use the bow from New War for all the headshot and "kills over 20m away" stuff, and a Kompressa Prime for all the things like "kills while airborne" or " kills while sliding", since you can just cover the enemy in bubbles and then have ample time to jump, slide, wall latch, etc, while they explode.
Neither weapon is optimal for actually benefitting from all the Decrees, which really likes high fire rate, big magazine guns. But they make *getting* the Decrees very easy which to me is a worthwhile tradeoff. And Nataruk hitting twice is never a bad thing.
Just for anyone unaware, Koumei looks like a life-sized creepy doll of a Japanese shrine maiden. She legit looks like something you'd find in a abandoned Shinto shrine in a Japanese horror game.
She's unfortunately hard to fashion frame a lot with since her aesthetic is so unique and very few cosmetics fit it very well unless you lean more into the "Shrine Maiden" part and less into the "Creepy doll" part.
But her base look is so strong so you really don't need to do much to make her look good.
She also has some of the best idle animations in the game, IMO.
... I'm downloading Warframe again this weekend aren't I.
How is farming her? Ivara was a nightmare I do not wish to repeat (and I never did finish Harrow I think)
Long.... Long grind, but not hard.
You get 10 Koumei points per Shrine Defence and if you are unlucky and no part drops on its own (each part has 4% drop chance, so you'll likely get at least one), you need 330 Koumei points to get all her parts, assuming you don't also go for her gun or her polearm (the gun is skippable, though it looks cool, the polearm is fun are requires 270 more points if no parts drop).
Shrine Defence, if you do it with a squad (recommended, even a random pickup one, just to have more people on the field speeds things up a lot) takes maybe 10-15 minutes. Something like that.
So its comparative not that bad. At least Van Heyk and Saya's banter is kinda funny.
And most importantly compared to Ivara, it's not random. You WILL get her if you put in the time. You aren't at the mercy of random drops.
You get more points if you do it in Steel Path, but the enemies are much tougher, so it will actually take longer that way.
Hey, as long as I'm not in RNG hell for weeks for Ivara (I'm so glad I did her farm before the corpus tileset update made those runs longer), I can grind out points!
I feel you. I got Octavia only after a nice (and incredibly powerful) Styanax agreed to stay and carry me past where he needed to get and help me get to the one hour mark of that Survival mission. I think I had ran that damn mission over 20 times and she just refused to drop. But that time she dropped exactly at the one hour mark.
And I still don't have Khora.
Thinking back, I think I've repressed memories of the grinds for a lot of frames because some are really bad. I don't remember Khora's grind, but I do remember being ecstatic when I finally had her crafted! Octavia I think was painless because I don't recall putting much effort into her farm, so I expect I just got wildly lucky on drops.
Actually, this may be why I have so many primes of older frames-- void relics being far easier than the original frame grinds.
Yeah, it's cool that Duviri now allows you to circumvent a bunch of those grinds
Wait, how does Duviri circumvent grinds? I barely touched it when I came back to the game for 1999, but didn't grasp all the features in it.
The game has added so many things it's like a new game to learn
Alright, so once you finish the duviri paradox, open the duviri menu and open circuit
Circuit is a mode that is just the warframe missions back to back and has two special xp tracks just for it, one for standard and one for steel path (you get a bunch of bonus xp for it the first time each day you finish 4 waves on each track)
If you do it on steel path you will be given a choice of three incarnons, three rivens, and Kuva and asked to pick two, the two you pick will be on the track, the first will be at rank 5, and the second will be at rank 10. Incarnons are upgrades you can apply to certain weapons that give them rechargable temporary use super forms, and can be applied by talking to the weapons vendor on the Zariman
Doing it on standard gives you a choice between three warframes. These three are not random, they are set groups of three and every week the game simply moves to the next set in the list. Once you choose one, you are given the track for the standard version, which contains the blueprints for every piece of the frame you picked as well as an augment mod for it on top of some other loot. The chart below is the warframe choices rotation and the highlighted section is what's on right now

so i was looking at ffxiv gearsets and i was for a moment transfixed by the fact that by default the site shows them all on male character models. every time i go to this site i have to click this little toggle to see what the gearsets look like on a female character. and it's so tiny. it's nothing. but it's another little example of that male-as-default that you just never stop noticing once you're attuned to it. idk i'm insane
i thought to myself "surely this male-as-default doesn't even reflect the reality of the playerbase" because, you know, nearly everyone i know plays a woman, and i went to check the demographics and
the "all characters" vs "endgame characters" gender gap is so fucking funny to me. fantasia advertisement real.
there's actually no fucking way 6 million people play this to be a male human. those must be bots or something, just picking all the default options to get through the menu faster

Alright, time to play Simon says with RNGesus.
First, weapon building. You will need something that can kill at 20+ meters, something that can headshot, something that can kill in the duration of a slide, and probably a melee with condition overload.
Your 1 is the most spammable ability you have, covering an entire room slash hallway for pretty dang cheap. Usually each thread inflicts one status effect, but rolling triple sixes makes each thread inflict every status at once, great for melting armor on things like necramechs and bosses, as well as pulling out your condition overload melee and going to town.
2 is either the thing you replaced with helminth or something you have up as often as you can. Holding 2 allows you to cancel a challenge you can't really deal with. Keep in mind that challenges with the 2 are very gun leaning (headshot kills, kills at 20+ meters, airborne kills) whereas there is a higher concentration of duviri decrees that benefit melee attacks. Also, if you use this ability in a Duviri run, instead of handing you a random decree, the game will just give you another selection of three for you to choose from. Oh, and have Omikuji's Fortune in your build. The recharge rate for your 2 gets bigger every challenge you complete and it will not be long before you are dealing with a 2+ minute recharge timer on it. That said, the decrees last for the rest of the mission, so this ability shines in infinite missions that allow it to build to ridiculous heights
You should have your 3 on at all times. I'm serious, 50% chance for any attack to do absolutely nothing is crazy, even more so if you roll triple sixes and become immune to ALL damage as long as you have charms. Keep in mind, though, that falling off the map gets rid of all of your charms instantly.
Your 4 is pretty self-explanatory, hit it, and stun what's in front of you (as well as what's behind you if you get triple sixes). It is the ability most likely to get kills attributed to it. The casting time is pretty slow, so I recommend increasing casting speed if you intend to use it ( I use 2 tauforged amber shards for that purpose)
I think it says a lot about the working conditions at the pharmacy these days that one of our workday hobbies is spinning elaborate fantasies about bailing on work as a group and starting a new life free from people who’ll insist for third time this month that they don’t have a deductible.
Sir, your insurance sets the copay, the entire amount is going towards your deductible, you’ll have to check your plan to see what the cost will be after you pay that down, no really that’s how this all works, I promise I didn’t choose that cost personally, and if you’ll excuse me my coworkers and I have to go steal a boat and sail for the nearest inhabited island to open a pharmacy-themed coffee shop.

Hear me out, every pharmacy should have the Brian David Gilbert Health Insurance video playing on repeat (muted with captions of course) somewhere by the desk so that people can know what the heck all of those words they glazed over mean
holy shit
What's this? A group of armed men trying to remove an elderly cancer patient from their home? My multiple nests of bees ought to put a stop to that!
Knowing that trans women of color started the movement in the united states and were literally immediately erased and excluded from what they started is the most deeply jading knowledge.
It is the original sin of the so-called queer community and it damns it from the cradle.
no white gay boy will ever reblog this, watch:
no white gay will reblog this
no white lgb person will reblog this
Without Stonewall, without the efforts of Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, the LGBTQ Community wouldn’t be where it is today. Don’t forget the roots, don’t forget the catalyst.
and then TERFs wanna be like, “hmm well the LGBT community existed before Stonewall!”
but like…Becky, of course LGBTQ+ people existed before Stonewall. We’ve all existed since the beginning of time. But the movement got a shock to its senses, a jump-start, a rocket-into-space when that glass shattered via Marsha P. Johnson, and when Sylvia Rivera was up on-stage protesting guess who was on the sidelines heckling her?
The same fuckers who won’t ever reblog or acknowledge this
My apologies to the original poster as I photo captured this post to add to the thread-I reposted this last year for pride and expect to repost it every year I have left-it’s our history people.
Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.
Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never “pay it no mind”.
R E M E M B E R
And whatever you do, don’t watch that awful movie Stonewall. Go watch a documentary on Marsha P. Johnson instead.
there’s a wonderful documentary on netflix called the death and life of marsha p. johnson! very powerful watch.
every white person ever should reblog this
