Figure it's worth finally making a little pinned post, if for nothing else than to finally have my frequent tags in one place.
I'm a 35 year old Queer Black man living in the Midwest United States.
I'm a barista, I really love working with coffee, and it makes me about as happy as work can manage in this American hellscape.
I used to do a lot of fire performance and flow arts. These days I'm learning the cyr wheel. I post photos and videos, and I'll probably be tracking my cyr progress on this blog and/or a new sideblog, but my tags are here if you want to see me. I always wanted to run off and join the circus, but it turns out it's just a 15 minute drive from my house.
I'm a big literature and comic nerd. I love to read and to talk about books. Please feel free to get me going about 20th century Russian literature and poetry, Afro-futurism, and queer Sci fi.
I also speak a teensy bit of Russian, just enough to enjoy the sounds of poems out of translation.
