So... could there be a type of alpha omega dynamic where its both things? Not just one or the other alpha/beta/omega and maybe Sigma?
Sort of like most see (stereotypically)
Alphas = Doms
Omegas = Subs
But betas? They don't particularly feel like a switch...

Welcoming the Sigma.
Sigmas could be the ones that, depending on how they are feeling, can release a more omegan or alphan scent depending on whom they are trying to calm or intimidate.
Has fangs that drop down when marking or claiming another as a mate.
Their want for creating nests and dens can very. Some may prefer nests, while others prefer dens.
Either way most of them will have some form of both. For example, a sigma who is single could have their bed room made up like a den when first walking in, but hidden deep behind the bed in the closet, or perhaps under neath it you'll find their nest, with items from people they deem safe.
Can be territorial about whom they have as a partner. Be it an alpha partner or an omegan partner. Either way, what's theirs is theirs. Don't touch. They can be seen mostly in poly relationships as they prefer having more partners to have more scents that are deemed safe. Sigmas will want to be mated. They can be mated but the mark will wear off sometimes so it will need to be refreshed every once in a while becaude their body is constantly flipping.
They will want to be scented and to scent their partner. If the sigma is single and doesn't have a mate or partner usually they will try to keep their scents separated. Sometimes they can even use their own scent to help calm themselves as it can be quite a difference in smells when they are more alphan then omegan and vice versa.

Problems with being a sigma is they they experience both heats and ruts.
Usually they will fall into what ever opposite category their partner falls into but there will be times where they are experiencing a run while their partner is also in a rut or heat and heat. In which case it can be a messy task.
If both the sigma and omegan partner are in a heat they are essentially like two very subby people except they can produce slick, and are usually extremely territorial. Almost like an alpha to their mated omegan. But worse. As the sigma feels everything the omegan can on an emotional level but has the anger and flare that the alpha does.
If both sigma and alphan partner are in a rut, things can get... heated. Either in a physical play fight sort of way or they will both end up fucking each other as much as they can without letting the other one go. Never separating always near each other. A rutting sigma will never bow to their alphan partner but they will be damned if they see someone bowing or baring their neck for their partner. They will destroy whomever decided it was a good to be submissive to *their* alpha.
So, how does the genitalia work then? Well.
Sigmas sort of have both. Let me explain.
They can produce and give pups to others.
This is what defines Sigmas between all the other secondary genders.
If born Afab, they will have an enlarged clit when in a rut growing approx 2-4 approx inches in length. Just like an alphan afab. But it deflates when not in a rut. So this process can be quite painful for the Sigma. But can produce sperm which can leak out of the dick to be able to produce pups. And yes. The dick can get *hard* but it can be an extremely painful process. For those without a clit. Imagine your pinkie toe suddenly growing to approx 2-4 inches in length and that not counting the girth that comes with it. Yeah. Painful.
Baring pups would be the same as always, as they still have a womb and that can be fertilized just as an omegans can.
If born Amab, they will be able to bare pups just as an omegan amab can. Though the anus the womb would be located. And pups can be bared though there. Slick will be produced from the anus just as omegan amab, but it's painful. Usually the amount of slick produced can be too much and can cause then to experience cramping and nausea.
When starting to show like most a/b/o's would people usually get confused as to what their pup is showing as. Because they will usually go through a heat then a rut/ or a rut then heat one almost right after the other.
Here's the thing though. Sigmas cannot produce sperm or bare pups if they are *not* in a heat/rut. It just won't happen. They produce only a little bit of slick or near none when turned on most often their partner needs to rely on lube and vocal cues from their partner.

For those unaware, Super Mario Maker for the Wii U disabled uploading levels in March of 2021, and is shutting down its servers entirely in April of this year. I don't know if there's a good estimate on how many levels have been created in SMM's lifetime, but in 2016 Nintendo reported about 7.5 million levels created by players, so the number is High.
In the meantime there is a community dedicated to taking every level that has yet to be cleared for the first time, and clearing it. Some of these levels take 6-10 hours of attempts to beat, and some of them use obscure glitches that no one else has discovered. Nevertheless, as of a few months ago there were less than 20,000 uncleared levels and currently there are less than 1,000.
Nothing remains but the most difficult platform experiences you can imagine. The community is confident they can "beat Super Mario Maker" but the deadline is fast approaching. It will be a tight race, and this is shaping up to be a potentially historic moment.
As of yesterday, all levels uploaded in 2016 have been cleared.
Additional update, March 15th. There is now 1 level remaining.
This image is the entire level. The end goal is at the red door at the right, which is connected to the red door at the top left. Meaning if you follow that little zig-zag upward to that door, you beat the level.
The level takes 17 seconds to beat. Or it would, if anyone but the level creator had ever beaten it.
At the exact time of writing this post there have been 92,333 attempts at beating this level across 1,115 players. That means on average each person has made 83 attempts at this 17-second level. According to youtuber/Mario player Grand POOBear, yesterday it had somewhere around 50,000 attempts, which means that over the course of about 24 hours Mario has died 40,000 times to this one level.
