Got assaulted by two cops twice my size today. They almost killed me. Because I refused to step out of the car for a traffic stop.
Here are the full details of what went down. I posted about it a bit earlier. Trigger warning for police violence.
Going down a hill, I was going 10mph over the speed limit. I had the cruise control set to 5mph over the speed limit and didn't know that unlike my bf's car, it doesn't slow itself down when the speed goes over to what you've set the cruise control to. Judge me for speeding. Whatever.
The cop pulls me over. Takes my license and registration. Asks me to step out of the vehicle. I ask him why I need to step out of the vehicle. He says he doesn't have to tell me why.
I tell him I'd like to look up the state law first. He tells me the law is to do whatever he says, pushes my phone out of my hand, and opens the car door.
I tell him that the only times I or anyone I've known have ever been asked to step out of the car during a traffic stop were when the officer suspected that they were impaired (it happened to me in 2019 when I was driving my friend home and the cop saw her drunk and passed out in the back seat. I immediately got handcuffed without being told why and wasn't given a breathalyzer until i got to the police station. They let me go after that, but didn't give me my stuff back. Or my money. They robbed me that night. When I called to get my stuff back they said they didn't have it. This is why I didn't want to immediately get out of the car for this traffic stop.)
He grabs me by my arm and starts pulling me. I tell him to let me go. He tells me to shut the fuck up and do what I'm told. Grabs my head with his other hand and tries to pull me out by my hair.
I pick my phone back up and dial 911 to let them know that an officer is trying to pull me out of my car without reasoning. They tell me, in a very annoyed tone, to just do whatever the officer says.
At this point, the cop is pulling my arm backwards against the car, and I'm scared he's going to break it. I start panicking.
A 2nd officer, his supervisor, walks up and rips my keys out of the ignition, breaking them.
I'm already freaking out at this point and impulsively reach out my hand to stop him. He says "oh, you REALLY fucked up now" and grabs me along with the other cop. They grab me by my hair, neck, and arms.
They throw me onto the highway.
Cars were coming. They had to swerve to get around me. Truck tires pass my head about a foot away.
My chin hits the ground. They shove my face into the road. One of them is sitting on me and the other is standing on me so I can't get up. I'm extremely claustrophobic. I start screaming for help. They tell me to shut the fuck up or I'm getting tased and hold a taser up to my back. I stop screaming, but I can't stop crying and hyperventilating. They shove the taser into my back even harder and tell me to stop crying or they'll use it. I say "I'm sorry, I'll comply" and hold my breath. They pull my arms behind my back and handcuff me, very tightly.
The supervisor pulls me away to talk to me separately.
He does not. Stop. Talking. I get a huge lecture about how if I would've just done what I was told, I wouldn't have gotten hurt, but also, he "saved me from getting hurt worse and thrown in jail" by pulling me away from the other cop.
He tells me that he "doesn't care what bullshit advice that i learned from tiktok." I tell him I don't use tiktok, I just had a bad experience with corrupt cops in the past. He tells me that he doesn't care, I shouldn't assume all cops are corrupt just because they are, and he's not like those shitty cops.
He goes on to tell me about how they had to do what they did because they've both had people attempt to hurt them during traffic stops before and there was no way to be sure that I wouldn't do it too. He says that when i reached for my phone I could've been reaching for a gun.
I say "you just told me not to assume something bad will happen to me just because I had a bad experience in the past."
He tells me to stop talking.
He says "what is it called when someone is grabbing you and pushing you? Assault. And that's what you were doing to us. So it was safe to assume that we were in danger."
I say "That's what was being done to me, and considering that i wasn't told why, i think it's a normal reaction to try to stop someone from doing that in that situation. I was terrified."
"That's different. What you did was assault on an OFFICER. You shouldn't have put your hands on him."
Then he goes on rambling again. All while chain smoking cigarettes.
He talks about how great of a cop he is. He repeats that he "saved me" from the other cop immediately arresting me and sending me to jail. He talks about how i could be sitting next to murderers right now and starts to tell me graphic details of some of the cases he's dealt with.
I start hyperventilating so hard that I can't breathe. He tells me to shut the fuck up, but then gently pushes my hair out of my face and says "hey. Smile. You're lucky."
I force myself into breathing normally.
He says "man, that's the first time I've ever had to pull out my taser! I could've used it for the first time today! Ha ha ha!"
I start crying again.
"HEY! LAUGH! I'm trying to joke with you and lighten the mood!"
He continues to boast about how great and nice of a cop he is. He asks if i have kids. I tell him yes, and that he's waiting at home for me. He tells me about his kids. Says he's trying to relate to me.
At one point he asks if the other cop can search my car. I know they technically can't if they don't have a warrant and I say no. But I didn't want to get hurt again, and I didn't have anything illegal in the car, so I complied.
He asks me if I have anything in the car that i shouldn't have. I tell him no, but I brought some of my Adderall with me in a different bottle. He asks me to pull up my medical info to prove it's a prescription. He sees that I'm also prescribed pain medication and ask about it. I tell him about my physical issues and chronic pain.
"Oh, you think YOU'RE in pain? I got [list of injuries] while serving overseas so imagine how much pain it caused me when you forced me to pull you out of the car. Do you think i wanna go home to my family and tell them I got hurt because of a 130 pound female?"
"No, sir. I'm sorry."
I realize at this point that the only way out is by sucking up to he cops.
He tries to strike casual conversation. He says "did you know that in the town you live in, one in every 3 people has an STD?"
"I suppose that makes sense since it's a college town."
"Yeah, I just wanted to warn you so you know to be careful, just in case."
"Thank you, but i have a long term partner, so i don't think that'll be an issue for me." I force out a laugh in between tears.
"SEE! All you had to do was smile and laugh!"
He removes my handcuffs and tells me to stay still or I'll get tased.
"Thank you."
"So what do you think your boyfriend is gonna tell you?"
"That i should've listened. He'll probably be mad at me." (No the fuck he won't lol)
"Yeah, I bet you learned your lesson. I'll go try to convince the other officer not to throw you in jail. It's up to him though. Stay here and don't move. My dog in the car will alert me if you do."
I stand and wait.
They approach me with two tickets and tell me i can go home to my child. The first cop tells me someone shot at him two days ago. I tell him I'm sorry he went through that and that his job must be hard.
They pat themselves on the back for being such nice, empathetic cops.
I go to the car. It takes me a minute to start it because I'm trying to twist just the metal part of the key. It finally starts and I drive the rest of the way home slowly.
I didn't know until afterwards that they put down that I was going faster than I actually was. It's a higher charge for going 20+ over.
Can't stop thinking about how if my skin was darker, I probably wouldn't be alive right now.
I did not realize the situation went on for more than an hour. I called 911 about 5 minutes after I was pulled over and called my partner as soon as they let my go.
I can't get pictures of every bruise on my own nor do I want to show all of them, especially my face. But these ones are from the handcuffs and from having my arm grabbed.
I'm going through multiple shitty situations at the same time, including an ongoing court case against my abusive ex. I'm tired.
I really need help.
Cashapp: $niceworkbonedaddy
Paypal: yanidork
Venmo: nicework_bonedaddy
Here's what some of the bruises look like today
On a less depressing note. You wanna see my shirt. My shirt fuckin rocks
I get to see these assholes in court today đ
I could not sleep last night because of the anxiety and I woke up 2 hours late so that's super fun. I have to leave in an hour because it starts at 10 and I'm an hour away
On the bright side, my boyfriend took the day off so he could go with me, so I won't be doing it alone đĽš
I'm gonna be pleading not guilty to both tickets and invoking my right to stay silent so this is just the first court date đ
Anyway
My check was over $600 short this month due to a Medicare premium that medicaid used to pay for. I make $826/month on SSDI.
I was given $217 to last me the entire month. They told me they'll be taking $200 more next month. I closed my donation campaign right before it happened (check the notes for updates).
I could really use some help taking care of myself and my kids this month. I have to make four 2-hour trips this month for appointments and will need gas to do so. I already maxed out the amount i can borrow from cashapp & they decreased my borrow limit due to not paying things back quick enough so that made me lose a hundred more bucks. My uncle was going to give me $400 to help me out, but he won't give it to me until I go out to dinner with him apparently and I'm not gonna be in town until the end of the month.
I just keep running into shitty situation after shitty situation. Please help
I've also got this to take care of
Sigh
MY PARTNER JUST GOT FUCKING FIRED FROM HIS JOB
WE REALLY CAN'T CATCH A FUCKING BREAK!!!!!
He told his coworker to "mind his own business" when asking really invasive questions and it turns out his coworker was a family friend of the boss!!
WE HAVE THREE KIDS TO FEED
His shitass coworker has no kids and constantly brags about not having bills to pay because his parents are financially supporting him while he goes through school. Nothing wrong with that! I'm glad some people have that opportunity! But he doesn't understand that he just basically said "Hey, I don't care if you lose your ability to house and feed your children!"
Please help us, oh my god I can't take this stress anymore
I have a concussion on top of all this lol life is great
Take a walk with me. You grew up going to Chick-fil-A. They're honestly your favorite fried chicken, and you could *drink* their dipping sauce.
You find out that Chick-fil-A is a bad company. Like, puts LOTS of money to anti-LGBT organizations. Unchecked discrimination against employees. So, buying their food actively funds oppression.
So you start ordering from other restaurants when you crave fried chicken. You try your hand at cooking your own. You find a copycat recipe online for Chick-fil-A sauce so you can have the taste without the guilt.
You have a friend over for dinner and make fried chicken. "Oh, I almost forgot-- I've got homemade Chick-fil-A sauce to go with it!" You say, grabbing the jar out of the fridge.
Your friend asks why you would support Chick-fil-A when you know how terrible they are. You explain that it's not actually Chick-fil-A brand, just something that tastes like their sauce. You don't support that restaurant or eat there anymore, but you grew up eating out there so you've got fond memories with the taste.
Your friend looks offput. Doesn't your disgust at their actions override your nostalgia? How can you still enjoy the taste of Chick-fil-A?
You say that because you're not giving any money to Chick-fil-A, you don't see why you can't enjoy the sauce. It tastes good to you, and it lets you engage with those memories without actually causing harm.
Your friend is upset now, saying that creating something based on Chick-fil-A's food is still showing support for the restaurant. Raising Cane's and Zaxby's also have chicken sauces, so there's no reason to stick with Chick-fil-A.
You say that you like Cane's sauce just fine, but it's just not what you grew up with. And again, you don't go to Chick-fil-A or buy their products. You're not supporting them financially, and you don't support their ideals. You aren't trying to make anyone else use your homemade sauce, but you're going to use it on your own chicken.
The argument goes in circles until your friend says that if you're going to defend the oppression and disenfranchisement of LGBT people, there's no point continuing the friendship.
You watch your former friend leave and wonder what the hell just happened.
Anyway this is what arguments about whether it's okay to read Harry Potter fanfiction feel like.
roald dahl was antisemitic and misogynistic. george orwell was openly homophobic. edgar allan poe married his 13 year old cousin. dr seuss cheated on his wife (and was racist as well as antisemitic!). hp lovecraft was racist as fuck. anyways theyâre fucking dead itâs not like youâre enabling their behaviors in the afterlife or something. then again I think they bleed into the books so uh keep an eye out for that
the difference between these old white guys and jk rowling is that the former group is all dead. jk rowling is alive and using your money to oppress trans people
I reblogged this yesterday, but I want to reblog it again. Diabetic ketoacidosis turns your blood acidic and will essentially burn you from the inside out.
The stories you hear of people dying from rationing, this is what happens to their body.
Affordable insulin isnât just a right, itâs a necessity.
No one should have to die like that when itâs preventable with access to proper medication.

[ID: Post by Forrest Valkai reading: It's crazy how people get justifiably angry when scalpers buy a bunch of tickets to sell them at unreasonable prices, but when landlords do the exact same thing with houses we all just act like that's normal and smart business and homeless people should just work harder. /End ID]
"the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference" that's not true tho?? Like they are opposite ends of a spectrum of emotion. Indifference is not an emotion, it's a lack of emotion. It's not even on the spectrum. You can say the opposite of "feeling things" is indifference or apathy.
(I understand the meaning of the original quote and it's a powerful sentiment, I'm just focusing on the words themselves right now ok)
thanksgiving is a holiday based on a falsified narrative full of white guilt and the erasure of history so what are some good native organizations to donate to this coming thursday
organizations recommended by @loneghostkidÂ
native american rights fund
heyday berkely roundhouse
news from native california magazine
national indian child welfare association
california indian legal services
the national indigenous womenâs resource center
please also consider looking into funding native/tribal food sovereignty projects if you have food to donate or money to spare. friends, please add more if you know of them and have links to provide:
native american food sovereignty alliance
meskwaki food sovereignty initiative
friends of pine ridge reservation
first nations development institute
you can also buy food/gifts from indigenous sellers or donate to gofundme fundraisers made by indigenous people who need help getting groceries, paying medical bills, or paying rent. do something to help us and our communities.
try water projects too, like the navajo water project: https://www.navajowaterproject.org/
Help DigDeep bring clean, running water to hundreds of American families. Nearly 40% of Navajo don't have a tap or toilet at home. We can fi
a lot of reservations are fucked over on water by illegal oil drilling, pipelines, or other breaches, like in the navajo rezâs case: contaminated by illegal uranium mining.
I would like to put my endorsement to the Sovereign Bodies Institute, home of the database of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. The database is trans-inclusive, the data protocols follow the desires of the families of MMIW, and this holiday season, they are collecting donations to buy gifts for the families, especially the children, of missing and murdered women.Â
Iâd like to add Feeding Nunavut, the cost of living in the isolated north for Inuit is up to and sometimes over 5x the prices the rest of Canada is used to.
adding Great Plains Action Society, who do amazing work in the area I live in. Iowa is among the most ecologically devastated areas on the continent due to Big Ag and pipelines. Our indigenous comradesâ work is at the center of all liberation struggles here!
wheelchair users deserve a minimum of three wheelchairs to meet different needs. like, bare minimum of indoor chair, outdoor chair, and off road chair. chairs that meet different needs for transport, activity, positioning needs, energy levels, etc.
there is not "one chair" that can meet every need. wheelchair users deserve to have multiple chairs that meet specific needs, no matter how complex their seating/positioning needs. we deserve to at least have a backup if our chair breaks that is just as suited to our needs.
wow this blew up
for anyone who doesn't know, wheelchairs are very expensive and insurance will usually only cover one every five years or only cover a new one if your needs have changed significantly. the expense is especially true for anyone who has complex positioning needs (i.e. requiring tilt/recline/elevation in power wheelchairs, general group 3 power wheelchair needs, one arm drive for manual wheelchairs, etc.). as with so many disability related issues, those most impacted by their disability are most at risk of harm when adequate support is out of reach.
this post isn't a joke about how we deserve more for being disabled. this is a very real issue for many wheelchair users, for whom using a wheelchair not suited to their needs can cause very real harm. access to multiple wheelchairs that meet your needs can save lives, and the financial limits placed on disabled people (through insurance, through savings caps, through limited income) prevent that from being our reality!
I mean. As a person who can walk, I effectively have different feet. Bare feet for indoors, ordinary flat-soled boots for outdoors, heavy duty boots if I could go hiking (hasn't been possible for a while but I have hopes for next year, since I've actually taken care of some medical problems), and potentially, dressy shoes for if I need to present professionally. If I did more specialized things, I would need more specialist shoes (work boots, dance shoes, crappy cheap shoes that I don't care if they turn green when I mow the lawn, etc).
I don't see why people who can't walk should be stuck with a one-size-fits-not-much solution to their locomotion needs when I have nicely switchable options. Seems churlish and hypocritical. Good shoes for everyone, even if those shoes happen to be wheels.

what ppl defending kids on ipads donât seem to understand is that there are other ways to keep kids occupied. my mom had a whole bag full of little toys and games for me to play with while waiting in lines at disney world. once your kid is like 7 or 8 they can read a book. they can color. or they can literally just sit there and imagine things. i did that a lot as a kid.
thanks for putting your wrong and bad commentary in the tags where i still have to read all of it. most of what you said is untrue.
OP: giving children too young to process things so much access to ipads isnât good for them maybe.
People in the notes: So you hate moms??? Youâre ableist?? You think we should go back to the Dark Ages?? (My personal favorite because it makes no sense) youâre poor shaming??
Why is it so difficult to explain that children not developing fine motor skills and losing their attention spans is bad actually??
also children can end up being entertained by just about anything. I remember building "bird nests" with sticks in the backyard when I was like 7 years old. That was it. It took up my whole afternoon and I was entertained the entire time.
I worked at a kindergarten for a year, and Jesus Christ these kids are falling behind on so many milestones
Everyone knows who the iPad kids are
I've seen it all from kids who don't know how to use scissors, and can't perform the motions right compared to other kids in that age group, to kids who can't write the alphabet or spell their names (the older ones)
And one of the most startling thing I encountered was every now and then we have a country day, where we choose a country, color in the country's flag in the colors and watch a little film about said country.
And I was overseeing the coloring, and one boy just refusing to color
It happens, stubbornness, bad days, 'just don't wanna' s happen, but I sit with him and continue to try and encourage him and figure out why he doesn't want to
And he keeps saying he doesn't know how to color
And I'm like ??? Just pick up the pencil and put it on the paper buddy, cmon
So I'm showing him how, and he refuses to try over and over
So then I try like, coloring while guiding his hand, and again this is a flag were coloring it's a giant rectangle, not much precision is needed
And I realize while I'm helping him, literally moving his hand to color for him, he's CLEARLY never colored before. He's 4, there is no excuse for this when kids start coloring at like, 2 maybe younger.
By 4-5 kids can generally color inside the lines well enough and draw recognizable figures like people and landscapes and pets
Eventually he got into it, understood how to do it and requested to continue on by himself, which was great! I told him I was proud of him and we continued on with our day but it absolutely shocked me that these iPad kids are so beyond stunted like jesus
He didn't know how to grip a pencil, he didn't know the wrist movements and motions, he didn't understand the pressure control, he had no control over where or how he was coloring like, these kids NEED TO learn these things it's STARTLING how many kids don't have these milestones and are just not developing these fine motor skills
Ask any kindergarten attendant and they'll tell you the same thing-
The best thing you can do for a kid is buy them a shitton of construction paper, decorative child-safe scissors, and coloring books
Please please please kids need to cut paper up and color. It helps them develop so many fine motor skils
Now don't be mistaken, the percentage of these kids are low, for now. It's definitely not every kid, and thankfully not the majority but it is still a problem
What you're going to start seeing is a social class stratification of this.
I was at an MVA call--car into a powerline. Three kids, 9, 5, and 2 years old, trapped in the back of a car, crushed against a pole, live lines on the car. Meaning they were fine as long as they stayed inside but we couldn't cut the car open until the power company came and killed the line.
It took about a half an hour. We were all losing our MINDS thinking about three kids who had just been in a significant car accident, unknown injuries, trapped in a car without their mom, and all these strange noises and people around them. We thought these kids would be terrified.
Nope. All three of them were on devices watching videos. Like they didn't even register what had happened or the danger they'd been in or why people were so worried, or even THAT we were worried.
The most distress I saw the kids in as we drove the 30 minutes to the peds hospital? Was when the 2 year old's device's battery died. She went from sitting unnaturally quietly staring at Cocomelon to SCREAMING and throwing things and biting anyone. She only calmed down when her older brother agreed to share his device with her.
It was spooky af, man.
The mom thought she was doing a great job bc her kids were 'so well behaved'. To this day I wonder about kids who cannot process anything other than visual dopamine. How are they going to do in school? Sure? But how about their social development? How are they going to have friends? Boyfriends? Girlfriends? Anything?
[Image ID: Tumblr tags reading: #it's actually critical for people to learn how to be bored #i'm not joking on that. i'm 100% serious. #it's critical for kids to learn that skill too #<- prev you are so correct #my mom is a child psychologist and the number of kids she meets who can't regulate themselves because they never learned is Wild /End ID]
âGreat art, AI could never do this!â âHell yeah! I love trans people! Transphobes cannot handle trans swag!â âLook at this lesbian dating another lesbian! Weâre about to piss off the homophobes with this oneâ âPOC have great cultural practices. Iâm sure the racists are having heart attacks right now.ââLove seeing disabled people around. Bet the ableist are peeing their pants right now.â
Oh I get it, weâre in the Bad Place.
"But what's wrong with this?" What's wrong with this is that often times, people leave these types of comments when it's not necessary.
Leaving comments like this takes a moment of celebration and turns it to a moment of spite.
This is especially annoying when it's online. Most online spaces are algorithmically based and since algorithms like to share posts that will spread controversy, comments like that are only going to attract more people to it.
Bringing generative AI into a conversation that was started when someone wanted to share their art is just going to attract a generative AI dick rider to "erm actually..." the conversation. Bringing transphobia into a conversation that's supposed to be support of trans people will cause transphobes to enter the conversation and remind said trans person about transphobia. And so on and so forth.
If you want to show your support, keep the first half and drop the second half. Just say "you're amazing" and move on. It's a supportive message and it's still a celebration.
This is also the exact same mental trap conservatives and right-wingers fall into, doing shit just to "own the libs" - then their entire existence becomes defined by hatred instead of having an actual personality
If you can't enjoy something without thinking about how it's pissing off someone you don't like, then what's even the point??
As a wheelchair user I'm trying to reframe my language for "being in the way."
"I'm in the way," "I can't fit," and "I can't go there," is becoming "there's not enough space," "the walkway is too narrow," and "that place isn't accessible."
It's a small change, but to me it feels as if I'm redirecting blame from myself to the people that made these places inaccessible in the first place. I don't want people to just think that they're helping me, I want them to think that they're making up for someone else's wrongdoing. I want them to remember every time I've needed help as something someone else caused.
To the people saying this also applies to fat people - you are not derailing! This is true!!!
Oppositional sexism is a very useful term actually. Like, so much is better explained by the idea of âthereâs a societal belief that men and women should remain opposites and should have no overlapping traitsâ than âthis is homophobia/transphobiaâ. Why does society hate displays of femininity in men and masculinity in women? Itâs oppositional sexism. They hate that youâre proof that masculinity and femininity arenât inherently opposites. Thank you julia serano for another banger
being gay or lesbian also doesn't free you from belief in, snd enforcement of, oppositional sexism. a lot of radfems hate when trans men and women remind them that the differences between men and women are more societal than biological, and it's actually really easy to do both. or neither. or flip back and forth.
i didn't fail at being a woman, i was good at. i just quit being one because i didn't want to anymore. now im a man and im doing that well enough lots of people don't perceive anything 'wrong' with my behavior or even my body.
men and women aren't naturally opposite creatures, they're just two modes of human expression. it takes a ton of work, violent work, to maintain the premise that Male and Female are fundamentally different categories. and if we ever want freedom and equality it's on us to challenge that assertion as often as we can.

just saw someone (a trans + autistic person) say "most trans people are autistic" so just wanted to clear up real quickly. that is not true. you cannot separate the autism/trans overlap from the reality that many trans people have to have psych evals in order to access healthcare, which makes us more likely to be identified as autistic. when I was trying to access HRT, my doctor gave me questionnaires for autism and ADHD. many of my friends who are on HRT had to get evaluated for gender dysphoric disorder, and picked up other diagnoses in the process. this is altogether unsurprising to me, and it should be unsurprising to anyone who has been through those layers of psychiatric screening
I'm not saying there's a 0% chance of a real overlap existing between the two groups. it is an overlap that would make some sense. but 1) it's certainly not "most" trans people, and 2) you cannot trust any data about a group that is more likely to be exposed to pathologising processes than the majority
this is also one of many reasons you should be suspicious of data about mental illness diagnoses in prison populations. criminalising and pathologising go hand in hand. if more people in a population are assessed for a diagnosis, more people in that population will present with that diagnosis. this is particularly true when there are political factors at play. such as, for example, the political pressure to pathologise 'criminality' as a trait held in an individual. or 'transgenderism' as a process undertaken by the insane. unsurprising!
Itâs so crazy that suicide prevention is just people going awwww donât!! Awwww come on noooooooooo stopppppp
One of the best ones I saw was a thing noting that every single one of the few survivors of suicide jumps off of the Golden Gate Bridge realized, on the way down, that the problems they were killing themselves over actually were fixable or could be worked through...except for the now - extremely unfixable - problem of gravity.
Went to the Holocaust Museum in DC once. There was a video interview of an Auschwitz survivor who said he and some other prisoners stayed up all night with a man who wanted to kill himself. The man didnât kill himself and survived to liberation.
In the video the survivor said âNever seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And theyâre all temporary problems.â
Hearing that from a guy who survived the Holocaust rewired my brain a little bit.
[ID: Post from @/amaros-system that reads, "The best suicide prevention I ever saw was an exhaustive list of every way to commit suicide with pros and cons. It felt more like an academic paper than anything else. It concluded that there was no way to kill yourself that wasn't extraordinarily painful, incredibly unreliable, or both. If you kill yourself you, in all likelihood, will suffer immensely. That scared me straight for a while. /end ID]
