OK got some time to write and watching E5. The scene where Makee and the Sagheili (who I've decided are Var and Thel in their frenemy/buddy-cop era) are poking around Madrigal...the Covenant ship is just floating there. How did Makee and friends get out? Did they jump? Or what? Or maybe it's 10:30pm and I'm overthinking a detail that isn't even going in the story?

This Thel + Var thing is so great in my head I wish I knew how it will play out in the universe.
