the area i live in is beautiful but i am absolutely sick of the fact that it's all old people so all the businesses and especially restaurants are aimed at the tastes of suburban old people with no taste at all. the "nice" restaurants that are less than a 30 minute drive are all just over priced greasy slop from the 80s. the one rly cute oyster bar in town closed down. it's a college town with a decent tourism draw it doesn't have to be like this. no good bars either!!!! great place to live if you're over 50 i guess
