i know we are talking about a white suspect, but if y’all can’t wrap your heads around this one and practice checking yourself here, that bias is actively harming black victims of police brutality. the presumption of guilt when the police target people allows them to get away with being judge, jury, and executioner as a matter of course. if you think people are entitled to due process and that ‘innocent until proven guilty’ is the maxim our legal system should operate by, show it.
