A YA romantasy writer filed suit against another writer for copyright infringement, and as is always the case with these things, she padded her claims with delusionally spurious examples. The judge issued a 160-page ruling against the plaintiff where you can tell from the start how resentful they (or whatever clerk actually did the work) are to have been forced by duty to have read the works in question.

She's too precious for words. She's just a kid with neglectful parents and she turns that loneliness and lack of attention into, yes, a perfectionist need for control, but also a desire to do what she can to help others. She's blunt and bites off way more than she can chew and has trouble accepting that what she (as an 11-year-old girl) thinks is best might not be right for everyone but she's just. She tries so hard to be the best and try and help everyone around her be the best they can as well. She really is The Character of All Time
