Trying to save $600 by having my dad redo my brakes for me, thought it’d only take him a few hours to do… but no, first off we had to go get some stuff from his storage unit to be able to jack my car up so he could do that. Then he gets the wheels off and we have to go get the parts. He doesn’t realize until we get back to his place that he forgot something at Autozone so we had to go back and then neither of us had had lunch so we stopped to get a late lunch/early dinner and FINALLY get back to his place again. Well then his roommate came home just behind us so he took 5 minutes to talk to her and introduced me. Now he’s trying to actually do the repair part and had to stop to complain that the pieces in the tool kit he borrowed from Autozone doesn’t even work and is now trying to make do with other random bullshit from his garage… like.
