For the glaze:. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2-3 tbsp milk. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 2-3 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dip each donut into the glaze, then sprinkle with crushed cookies while the glaze is still wet. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before enjoying your chocolate cookies and cream donuts!
