please know that i am throwing my arms up in the air and storming out of the room whenever i think about how cool, useful, knowledgable and also just genuinely committed to becoming a person and doing a good job that anya was and the way nobody ever acknowledged how useful she was, made adequate use of her knowledge and experiences, or ever cut her any slack for being different and having to learn the rules of a world and a personhood that was so alien to her after living as a demon for a gazillion years.
