Hi darlings! Me and my friends are organising a little surprise for Käärijä - a notebook full of messages from fans all around the world to (hopefully) delivered to him this Saturday at Helsinki Ice Hall.

If you have something you would love to add to the notebook, please send me a message! And if you are coming to the gig you are more than welcome to write a message to the notebook yourself, I'll gladly give more info about that ✌️💚

“We have been in touch. We were in touch for the new year, obviously. But then also Sebastian was Sebastian-like, congratulating us, very gentleman-like after our first podium in Bahrain. I always said to him, you know, this is also your merit, because he brought us really one step up over the previous two years. He brought us up in a lot of areas where we have learned a lot and we have progressed a lot. So he has certainly his part in where we are now. But, he is comfortable with it. He was not in any kind of regret or whatever because he was very conscious about his decision when he made it. And I think the respect between himself and the team really is shown by this great moment of congratulating us.”

(Tom Clarkson: “And were you a teeny bit tempted to ask him to replace Lance had he not been available at Bahrain?”)

“Tempted, yes. 100%. But we didn’t do it because, again, we have such a high respect for Sebastian and his decision he made at the time. I think it would not have been correct even to ask. We wanted to respect the way he was and we didn’t want to put him in any difficult position.”
