Quinn's Quirks

Mira is no stranger to dating, both men and women. There was never long-term commitment involved, what with her idol career and everything, but this fact never really bothered her. She's loved before, but she's never been in love before. The feelings she developed for Rumi and Zoey were something so new to her that she didn't recognize them at first.

Mira doesn't usually mind being The Tall One in the relationship. Get this off the top shelf, find a person in a sea of people a full head shorter than you, be the big spoon.

But Mira has a desire she's never even had the chance to explore. She wants to be carried. Fireman's carry, piggy back, bridal carry, anything. But it was never realistic. By the time Huntr/x starts dating, it's an idea she's not even entertaining anymore.

Then she gets sick. It's nothing major, just a flu, but despite regular (and responsible) consumption of painkillers, the body aches remain prevalent. Add in the fatigue and it's hard for her to get up and move anywhere. So, she asks her girls for help.

"I don't want to just lay in bed all day," she explains, holding a cool cloth to her forehead. "At least help me get to the couch so I can be around you two more."

Zoey tries to protest that Mira needs rest and the best place to rest is in bed, but before she can say anything, Rumi is already threading her arm under Mira's back to help her sit up.

Or, at least that's what Zoey and Mira think she's doing. Suddenly Rumi's got her other arm under Mira's knees and is lifting her from the bed. Mira lets out a squeak of surprise, instinctively wrapping an arm around the back of Rumi's neck to stabilize herself. Her face flushes a deeper red than it's been the entire time she's had a fever as she's pressed tightly into Rumi's hot, muscular arms.

Zoey isn't faring much better. Her jaw is slack witnessing Rumi carry her tallest girlfriend with little to no strain. She swears she's drooling as she admires Rumi's flexed biceps, decorated gorgeously by her iridescent patterns. "Mira, make out with me so I can be sick next. I want Rumi to princess carry me too!"

"You were already sick," Rumi points out while carefully carrying Mira out of the bedroom. "Or did you forget that you're the reason she's got this in the first place?"

"But you didn't carry me then!"

"You never asked! Besides, I don't get what the big deal is."

Zoey huffed and crossed her arms grumpily. "Why don't you ask Mira?"

Rumi's attention is brought back to the girl in her arms, who has remained quiet throughout the conversation. Her eyes are blown wide, still locked on Rumi's arms as she's set down on the couch.

"Mira?" Rumi asks, concern filling her voice. "Oh gosh, I should have just left you in bed, I'm so sorry. Zoey, get the thermometer, I think her fever is getting-" She's cut off abruptly as a familiar smell reaches her nose. Since the Idol Awards incident, her sense of smell (among various other traits) has sharpened quite a lot. And she's smelling the unmistakable scent of Mira's arousal.

"Oh," she whispers, and now it's her turn to blush. Her patterns come to life, taking on a pinker hue to match the heat spreading across her face and ears.
